I just received my new 2017 Ford Fusion SE hybrid on May 24th and want to purchase weathertech floor mats. Unfortunately they still aren't available yet. Would the 2016 mats fit perfectly into the 2017? Not sure if ford modified the foot wells between the 2016 and 2017 models.

You should check out the Maxpider mats. I compared them to Weathertech and they look a lot nicer. Also made in Canada.

I bought a set for my Fusion.

I don't know where I read it, but I recall the dead pedal design is slightly different on the 17's. Take your car to the dealer and take a look.

If everyone is going to chime in on recommendations, take a look at Husky Weather Beaters, they provide better coverage behind the pedals an up the dead pedal area. Also, they aren't as stiff as the Weather Techs and and can be easily bent to contain water from melted snow in the mat.

I bought WeatherTech for my 16' and was disappointed at the coverage in the front. The rear and trunk are great but WeatherTech didn't do as good of a job with the Fusion front mats as they have for other vehicles. I would recommend looking elsewhere for yours.

Try husky liners, I have a full set in my 2010, well worth the 150 on Amazon.

Just got the MaxSpider carpet versions for front and back. I'm very pleased. I had the Weathertechs in my last Fusion, and didn't care for the hard plastic, almost sticky texture. They were tan, and never got back to the original color after getting dirty. These MaxSpiders, though, are beautiful. As far as I know, only ford OEM mats actually have the locking grommets for the floor retainer tabs, but the MaxSpider at least has grommets to fit over the tabs, keeping it level on the floor. They don't slide around, but that's probably more due to the backing than the grommets. Obviously, I can't speak to durability just yet. I've only had them a week. They are pretty lightweight, so I'm a little concerned with durability.

I'm glad that you like the Maxpider mats.

I have had mine in for 8 months and they look good as new.

I just checked the Weather Tech site and floor mats are now available for the 2017 Fusion. Direct from their web site, Weather Tech wants $179.90 plus shipping for a full set and $109.95 plus shipping for a set of fronts only. I found a much better deal at http://www.autoanything.com/floor-mats/husky-liners-weatherbeater-floor-liners where the Husky WeatherBeaters are $125.96 for a full set and free shipping, plus, no tax in Minnesota. I like Husky liners because they're more flexible and easier to get in and out, especially when there's melted snow in them.

IMO look for something other than weathertech, I have them and I really wish I got something else.

I agree. The WeatherTech liners are too stiff and I think they are over priced. Husky liners provide much better coverage up the dead pedal, up the fire wall and on the sides.

The Maxpider mats also provide very good sidewall height and I find them esthetically more pleasing than either the Husky or WeatherTech

As stated the 2017 floor liners are now available. Speaking from experience the 2016 liners will not fit in the front row.

Thanks for the input. After reading everyone's input, I think I am going to pass on the weathertech mats and get something better. I tried the maxpider for a 2016 Fusion and they didn't fit the front but I really loved the coverage. I would like floor liners that have excellent coverage underneath the pedals and covers the deadman pedal too. I wish the manufacturers would come out with 2017 liners quicker. I'll just have to keep waiting. Hopefully they arrive before the winter.

One thing the Husky's are known for is excellent coverage.

Do not purchase the Husky WeatherBeater Liners for the 2017, they don't fit. I don't know if it's a bad design, or they're trying to sell the 2013-2016 liners for the 2017, but there isn't enough depth from the dead pedal to the firewall, so there's a space under the mat at the transition from the floor pan to the firewall. I tried twice to get them to fit and no luck. I'm going to call AutoAnything tomorrow for an explanation and to arrange to return them.

Buying the husky liners from AutoAnything is a bad idea. They are selling the 2016 liners as the 2017. I looked at the two part numbers. It matches the 2016. The actual Husky Liner website is selling the actual 2017 liners. New part number.

Once they realized they had sent the wrong part, AutoAnything was very apologetic. If you purchase 2017 Fusion Husky floor liners make, sure it's part number 98791.

I got my 2017 Weather Tech (oops, meant Weather Beater) Husky mats today and they fit beautifully and provide great coverage. I'm not wishing for sloppy weather, but I'm prepared.

My dealer gave me a set of WeatherTech mats for the front: therefor I love them. Can't beat the price.

For those of us that aren't so lucky and need to spend our hard earned dollars, I would go for the Maxpiders as they look like they cost twice the price and are very functional.

I just put a set of Maxpiders in my 2015, they're great! The fit perfectly (front and back) and are a lot more attractive than the rubber/plastic all weather mats. I've had a similar product, Catch-All, in my truck for years and these are nicer.

Bump.....Anyone have the Maxpider's in a 2017? if so, pics please.

Having trouble finding them, I'm starting to think they haven't came out for the 2017 models yet (idk if the 2016 will fit 2017).... Can anyone provide any in-site or a link?
