DETROIT (Reuters) - U.S. safety regulators are investigating Ford Motor Co's <F.N> Fusion and Mercury Milan sedans from the 2007 to 2009 model years for brakes that may fail in certain conditions, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Tuesday.

I don't recall seeing this problem on the Fusion forum.

Yup.  Known problem.  If it results in a recall, owners who paid hundreds of dollars for a new HCU should be reimbursed if they have receipts.
