jcwd01 Posted December 11, 2016 Share Posted December 11, 2016 I recently changed the batteries in both fobs on 2013 Fusion. Fob buttons function correctly, but the car alarm is now VERY sensitive. drolds1 Posted December 11, 2016 Share Posted December 11, 2016 Did you wipe away any of the grease on the terminals or the circuit board? Do not wipe off any grease on the battery terminals or on the back surface of the circuit board. Is this an IKT or IA? If it's the latter, did you replace the label between the batteries? If it's the latter, did you replace the label between the batteries? They were OEM batteries that I replaced. The OEM's had a glob of dielectric grease on top...
