  1. Same here OP. While my 4Runner is rock-steady, I find myself constantly adjusting the Fusion temp. So reluctantly, I'll have to consider it normal.
  2. Was the valve stem at the place of the rim blowout?
  3. Enjoy. My biggest problem is trying to not kick the hood release off the side panel, as my other daily driver has a parking brake there, and I keep forgetting about the console mounted electronic parking brake. You'll love the power - it's just there, always.
  4. Welcome Jay. Do you have the SE or Titanium or Hybrid?
  5. I don't own what you own, but if they're foggy or yellowed you can purchase a cleaning kit at any automotive store that will restore the lens to a factory finish. Sometimes you'll have to repeat this yearly as some kits are better than others.
  6. Search YouTube for: 5 things you might not know about your Fusion The video will describe retrieving the key code.
  7. I gather you meant Titanium. I considered a hybrid, but I don't commute or drive much anymore. Between the higher cost at purchase and the low miles I drive yearly a hybrid wouldn't benefit me. But if you drive a lot, like 10,000 miles or more yearly, your cost to benefit ratio will be much better at 40mpg or thereabouts. There is a Fusion Hybrid Owners link at the top of the page you should look at.
  8. When I was shopping 2016 Fusions last month I noticed quite a few hoods out of alignment on the drivers side, where the gap was double the size of the passenger side. It was very obvious.
  9. Tectonic (gold) or Ingot (silver) was my color choice. Interestingly, since my purchase 2.0 SE's are hard to find locally. I guess local Fusion buyers had a big run on them at the end of November, and good thing for us as they're costing more in December.
  10. This was the primary reason I purchased (F) Ford stock several years ago. The way I looked at it, more people = more buyers. It might take another decade, but I wouldn't be surprised to see China sales pass US sales.
  11. Hi folks. Thanks to Ford's discontinued F&N sale this past November, I purchased my Fusion. Paid cash. I had been looking for a deal for quite a while on something new. I wanted a vehicle with decent power and a few options. A Ford in all honesty wasn't on the radar, but the F&N pricing took the BS haggling out of the picture and got me looking. I own (F) Ford stock, but that didn't influence my decision. Other vehicles considered were a Charger, 300, Maxima, Avalon, Camry, Outback, Legacy, and a 2016 F150. My wants were a FWD 2.0 with SXM, Homelink, and an auto-dimming mirror, preferably in Tectonic or Ingot, with the 2.0 and SXM being the must have options. The one I was going to purchase was sold the previous day, so the dealer offered me a color I didn't want with more options for less than the original deal. SOLD. Mine is a Deep Impact 2.0 FWD w/201a package and NAV. Overall, I am very happy. The tech package works as advertised, the SXM sounds fantastic, the stereo is good, the power is excellent, and the ride is supple. My only disappointment is a distorted view through the back window. I didn't get the Homelink or auto-dimming mirror, but I still love the vehicle. I wish Ford would get their act together and offer buyers a simple $300 optional Gentex auto-dimming mirror with Homelink instead of making buyers get options they don't want to get the mirror & Homelink. My preference is the cloth seats over the leather seats as I found the leather way too stiff. The 201a package cloth seats are very adjustable and comfortable. I won't be modding the vehicle although I will definitely add a Curt hitch. My other vehicle is a 2003 4Runner 4x4. Hopefully it's 8 years of good luck, because that's how long my factory extended warranty will last.
  12. I've got a distorted rear window view on my 2016 SE 2.0 FWD. I'm disappointed. I didn't notice it on the test drive or drive home as I was in heavy traffic. I got a great deal so maybe I should shut up, but having driven many vehicles over the years I've never seen one as bad as this. Up close or in heavy traffic the distortion is unnoticeable, but on the open road everything a 1/4 mile back or farther is distorted. I'll let Ford hear about when I get a chance to tell them how much I enjoy the vehicle, which by the way I really enjoy, until I look in the rearview mirror. Also, as a (F) Ford stockholder, I'm VERY disappointed Ford is marketing this crap. Totally unacceptable. This is my first Ford in 30 years and I'd like to be more positive. Hopefully a brief hailstorm finds my rear window.

Hi Tyleryac. Congratulations on your new Fusion. I'm seriously considering a 2016 SE as Ford put another $750 on the table recently expiring 11-30-15. My dilemma is 2.5 NA, or 1.5 or 2.0 eco. Living at 2000ft with some minor highway grades to travel I'd like to believe the 1.5 is my best bet, but since you got a 2.0 let us know how much you like it. I know nothing is broken in, but reviews of how folks like their Fusions seem to be few and far between despite 300,000 sales or so annually. I have an AWD 4Runner, so another AWD is out of the picture. I just want a car for mpg and comfort, and x-plan pricing is tempting. My basic questions are how are the cloth seats (if you have them), XM radio, and Homelink. Those are my top 3 concerns. Please give us an update once in awhile. Thanks.
