  1. Hilla,

This is the exact same thing that is happening to my wifes 07 SEL AWD Fusion 70,000 miles. I took it in to the mechanic after looking for all of the obvious things that could be wrong.

The mechanic said that the lower ball joints were squeaking but nothing was loose and nothing needed to be replaced, as long as im ok with the nasty squeak. He said if i wanted to replace it would be about 125 for each ball joint. Hope this helps.

  2. ah thanks. I was going about 105-110. So I was pretty high up there. I'm going to make it a point to take it easier for everyday driving.

Just another little side note, your comment about only having 3k on the car. It is usually advisable not to "beat" the car within the first 5k as you can do more damage in the "break in period" than you can when the car is already broke in..... just adding to what has already been said. like bff said its your car and you paid for it, drive it however you want

  3. thanks for the responses, im guessing it could be the fact that i had them rotate the tires before we took it off the lot. It was not "vibrating" when we test drove it so im guessing it could just be due to the uneven tires.

    Your thoughts?

  4. I just bought a used 07 ford fusion AWD 3.0 V6 w/ 42,500 miles , and there seems to be a low speed rotational "vibration" in the front end from about 10-55 mph and then once i speed up the road noise or "vibration" goes away. Is this just something i should deal with or is there a possible problem im dealing with here. any help would be much appreciated.

    thanks in advance,

    jake
