I had this problem, it was the rear gasket. The center bolts of the valve cover seeped oil, so when accelerating the oil would spill over onto the exhaust.. Changed that, didn't smell the oil again. Hope this helps.

I have 2012 SEL/AWD 3.0L Found a complete NAV unit, it is out of a 2012 Fusion.. I want to add this to my car. Anyone have suggestions or experience? Thank you in advance.

I did the exact same thing you did. Watched every concievable video, followed the instructions...applied it very very thick. Followed the hood line, half the front fenders forward and all the front clip. Not easy to remove, I won't do it again. If I find the pictures I'll post em. Mind you it does look good when it's done..

Yup, it was the oil filter. Who'd a thought!! Weird...

Your local body shop should have what your looking for.. That's where I get my cleaning products. My 2 cents.

c 49,000 Kms, and maybe I'm describing it wrong.. And I will replace that oil filter. My first Ford, got it at the end of last winter so not sure if this is normal, been to a couple of dealerships and started the same model car and sort of sound the same. Goes to the dealership Wednesday morning reguardless. They wanted to hear it for themselves, just to be sure its not a one off problem. Thanks, will update.

Its been really really cold up here. I've looked and read some posts on here. My question is, when I started my car, the noise from the engine is sickening..high rev, a rattle/knock is this normal?? I have full syn oil in it and a fram filter. Help..! And thanks.

Couldnt find that code, but the tranny dip stick tells you what fluid to use and that indicated what transmission I have, it is the 6F35. Oh mine is 2012 SEL AWD w/Sport apearance package. And the problems metioned with this transmission isnot an issue with me. All manufacturer's have some sort of bug some where. Shit my 03' Jeep Liberty was one big head ache, 31 time in the shop... most warranty, but still, and had that until 3 months ago. If I get as long as I got from the Jeep, I'll be happy. So this Ford I now own, TOP BILLING. Hands down, and the tranny issues, well never heard of any until joining the site. My good friend which is a Ford Mechanic and also the guy on Fusion tranny's said its a solid tranny, some are problematic but not incurable..and you have a bullet proof car in a manner of speaking. Any ways my 2 cents.

I'm hiring a shop here, they include Lifetime warranty for the life of the car (Not the owner), so it's transferable, and one time repair/replace accidental damage, ie..you scratch it with a key or the kids do something to the tint or the window gets smashed... And the warranty is transferrable if I sell the car. for $350.00

I've noticed this too, and asked the dealership about it. They told me it's normal in this car (2012 SEL/AWD w/sport), so I'm still not convinced that it is. Even tried pressing the throttle ever so slowly thinking I had a heavy foot. So who know's, I've got plenty of warranty and if it goes it's covered.
