Haven't been on here in a while. Finally got my car through inspection in june (exactly 7 months to the day of the accident) and it looks better than ever. Did most the work myself even though I was hurting at the beginning. Guy that hit me is still in jail and sentenced to 3 years. After passing, I installed new exhaust, tbs and Steeda CAI. suspension is next.

I hate my automatic headlights turn on during the day. Besides that, I got nothing...

My truck got totaled so I sold 2 snow plows and decided to get out of the snow business. I got this at a dd/project car. Currently has 56k steeda CAI/TBS MRT exhaust 2003 Cobra wheels on 245/45/17. doing suspension next to get back into autocross on the weekends

Got a 2006 fusion I purchased last year with 30k miles. 46k now. The abs light has never turned on or thrown any codes but whenever you hit the brakes hard it locks up. Anything I can do to fix it?

The adjuster said if it wasn't for the airbags going off and cracking my windshield, it would have been salvageable. I purchased the hood, fenders,bumper, radiator support, dash and a few other things to pass inspection. Its going in for paint this week.

On halloween night me and my gf are left a halloween party (around 2am) and we were going to grab some fast food before we called it a night. So Im driving down a main road and all the traffic lights are blinking. I had the blinking yellow. The guy getting off the highway had a blinking red and decided to take a left turn as I was going through the intersection at the same time I did. I ended up hitting his rear quarter panel of his car, resulting in hitting so hard I hit the switch to disable fuel to going to the motor. Spun him around 180 degrees to where he came to a complete stop. After both airbags deployed and I realized what had happened, I look to my left to see him trying to start his car so he can take off (Not going to happen) so he gets out of the car, face covered in blood and he's saying something in Spanish. Luckily my gf is PR so she understood what he said. He said to his gf "I'm definitely going to jail tonight, Im going to jail.. F***! " His gf then said "Don't worry, We will make it like it is their fault". So my gf tells me what they said and the other girl starts saying, "why were you going so fast? this is your fault, you could have killed us". So I tell her I know what the both of them said and you aren't pinning S*** on me. So she stops talking because she was caught out and goes back to the car. Cops, FD, and EMS were called so they checked on all of us. I was fine, some whiplash, back pain and my knees hit the dash so they were pretty sore. My gf had the same thing minus the knees. The other 2 left in an ambulance. Called the PD a few days later to get a copy of the police report so I can contact the guys insurance. They tell me they don't have the accident report but have the arrest record. So my ears shoot up in the air like a dog, Come to find out he got arrested that same for having, No registration, No Ins, No License, and a fake license plate. Great.. another scumbag PR with nothing to his name.. So Im thinking I'm screwed.. Luckily I called my insurance and they are taking care of everything and will go after him when he gets out of jail. So they decided to total it out, I didn't want to get rid of the car being it only has 45k on it so I bought it back it and going to spend the next week or 2 rebuilding it myself minus paint and go through inspection to get it road worthy again. So end of rant.. One thing I learned from all this. Be more cautious and have full coverage on all your vehicles. You never know what can happen.. Here's what my car looks like, before/after

How the car sits.

So last night my buddy's car got towed and I had to bring him and a bunch of people back home, Had 3 people in the back (No fat people rode in my backseat) and whenever I hit any small bump the tires rubbed.. I have 17x9 cobra wheels on 245/45/17.Never had an issue with rubbing until last night. I have plenty of clearance (about 2-2.5") I plan on lowering the car this winter (steeda lowering kit 1.4" drop) and don't want to spend money on a lowering kit and have this issue again after its installed. So Im thinking about getting some stiffer shocks/struts. Whats some good ones I can get? Also I never lowered a car before, If I buy them soon and put them in now then do the lowing kit in the winter, Would that affect the install or can I use the shocks? If not, are adjustable shocks the way to go? Thanks in advance for any input.

When winter comes and I have free time, Im looking to do some work on my 06 to gain more hp. Right now I have a Steeda CAI, MRT Catback Exhaust with resonator delete, and a tune. What are some other things I can do to get more power to the wheels. Pulleys? bigger fuel injectors? I eventually plan on doing a power adder blower/turbo but I want something I can enjoy for the mean time.

Looking into lowering my 06 about 1.5" and wondering what's a good suspension kit to get with that wont break the bank? I'm looking into the Steeda and Eibach Pro kit. I also need some shocks that are somewhat firm so I can haul a small utility trailer to load a couple bikes up when I decide to go to the track once in a blue moon. Any input would be greatly appreciative.

Whats up guys. Just signed up today and wanted to say hello. I have a 2006 Oxford White 3.0 SEL I purchased a few months. Original Florida car with 37k and mostly stock. Looking to get some more power out of it without breaking the bank too bad. Here are some pics from when I bought it to today. So far all that was done was the headlights and tail lights were tinted, 20% tints all around and 2003 OEM chrome Mustang Cobra wheels which I'm debating on getting them dipped in black chrome in the winter
