So fixing the entire EPAS system will keep the Advance Trac light off on the dash???

Wanted to chime in and find out if there has been any more recalls other than the safety recall of May 27, 2015. My Fusion 2012 SEL just experienced this problem at 82,000. The dealer is well versed w/ this issue. I have no doubt I will be treated fairly. I have questions to the forum group though: Do you think this problem will be solved if you get your car repaired first time? I am having the steering rack replaced. It is on back order. I worry that it won't truly be fixed & you will experience other issues as someone mentioned. Is this only to do w/ the new EPS power steering system? Will NHSTA mandate a recall b/c of the seriousness of this problem on these cars & X number of complaints lodged?. I note there is also a class action lawsuit. I was also amazed after I had read the web the number of accidents or mishaps that had occurred as a result of this power steering failure. Just a comment: It is not just Ford but all the car companies; it seems if greed & dollars enter heavily into the equation before safety of the consumer. I find it a sad commentary of today's world because we know so much that why can't these vehicles be made better & safer. JMO
