  1. It appears it was the throttle body. Bought a new one, and it fixed the issue.
  2. I have not, but was planning on doing that either tonight or tomorrow. My boss is also replacing my plugs, hoping that it may be part of the problem. Your advice has been solid far (plus you are the only one responding). And I know there is only so much you can do through the internet without actually being there and seeing the problem, etc. All your advice is greatly appreciated.
  3. Sorry, I absolutely should have put how the car was behaving. Before we cleaned out the throttle body, it was feeling like the car would stutter/stumble a bit every once in a while possibly more when it was shifting gears. Wouldn't happen often, but enough to notice. What I felt more of was a loss of power when accelerating. After cleaning out the throttlebody. There is much less of it. The light has only came on once after we cleaned it 2 days ago, and have only felt a few stutters. I've only felt a loss of power while accelerating maybe once or twice.
  4. The only other information my boss told me is when he plugged his reader into my car before we cleaned out the throttle body... his reader was jumping between reading 3 codes and 5 codes. NOt sure if it was because of repeat codes or not.
  5. Slightly longer test drive after that, light has unfortunately come on.
  6. Thanks. I noticed on the P2119 link it mentioned the PCM could be the cause, which definitely has me worried. My boss took off my throttle body and gave it a thorough cleaning, so hopefully that fixes it. Did a short test drive, and no lights on, he didnt have time to hook up his code reader, will be doing that later.
  7. I have a 2011 Ford Fusion Sel 6 cyl 3.0 and have had the orange wrench light come on a few times the past couple of days. I have gotten two error codes according to my bosses scanner. I've looked them up, but most of the stuff I saw online was vague and just overall general stuff, was hoping someone who might be familiar with the car and/or codes could help me a little more so I know how to go about getting it fixed. The codes are: P2119 - Generic- Throttle Actuator Control Throttle body range/performance P06B8 - no description - had to look up online and got this - Internal Control Module Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) Error Any help would be appreciated.
  8. interesting..hmm..I'll have to give that a check next time it acting up. For some reason I was thinking the air went straight from blower motor to vent
  9. Gotcha, but wouldn't that stop the cold air from coming into the car? I can get in where the floor is and like in the glove box, and still feel cold air seeping out of various cracks in the car. Also when this whole air stops coming out the vents, the compressor was still on, at leas it was the one time my boss was there trying to figure it out. That may still be a problem, I don't know, but I know the one time my boss was there trying to figure out, everything seemed to be working properly, but it just feels like the air was being blocked before it go to the vents. He had the glove box out, cabin filter out, and cold air was leaking in to the car, just not through the vents. Wasn't sure if the was some actuator or door or something that for some reason was closing or stopping flow to the vents. I'll have to check if the compressor is still on the next time it happens, but I know it was at least one of the times. Usually I'm driving, and don't have a lot of time to stop or my boss in the car to help out haha.
  10. I was thinking about it, and how does it freezing up make the air not come through vents? The blower motor is definitely still blowing, just nothing really coming through the vents. And i can still feel cold air seeping out of various parts of the car.
  11. Gotcha, it's definitely not the cabin air filter. That's what my boss first thought, but it does it even when the cabin air filter is removed.
  12. i have a 2011 Fusion Sel 6 cyl. It doesn't happen super often, but every once in a while, especially in the summer and on longer drives, the air will just suddenly stop coming out of the feet and dash vents. You can still here the blower motor blowing air, but it's not making it through the vents. Just seems to be leaking in to the car but not at a rate that keeps the car cool. If I turn the whole HVAC thing off, and let is stay off for about 20 mins and press the on button again, usually it starts working fine again. Or if i turn the car off for a bit. Seems pretty random when it does it, and I havent been able to figure out why. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this, or knows what it might be. I'm not super good with cars, but my boss usually can do most things, so anything I need to do usually, he can accomplish.
