Why is the dealership not providing you with a loaner car? I will have to look but i thought it was stated in the warranty document that if they have to keep your car longer than a day for warranty then a car will be provided.

I know it doesn't make much difference in today's cars but it made me feel better. I am not sure if they remembered to reset my oil life indicator because my car told me to change the oil about 8,000 miles later.

I let mine expire today because when I inquired about canceling the best deal they offered me was $9.99 a month for just music, no sports or talk radio. I would have signed up for another 3 months for $12.95 but I will see how I like the car without Sirius or Travel Link or wait for them to mail me a good offer.

Well I am glad I read this thread. My engine light came on during start up last week, ~8,000 miles. I turned the car off and then on and it went away so I really didn't think anything of it. I think for my next oil change I will mention it and see if it was the EGR valve.

I will add to me earlier post by saying that I have a 2010 FFH and it was an early build with about 2,500 miles on it. I now have about 8,000 miles and no clunk. I think I have to search some because i don't remember anyone else having a cracked subframe. A quick way to rule out sway bar is when sitting in the parking lot turn the wheels back and forth. Mine would make the clunk so they ruled out some of the suspension.

I had the issue start as a mild clunk when backing out of the garage. It started as only making the noise when backing of my garage but it became worse over time. I took it to the dealership and they ended up replacing the engine subframe. Took them about 3-4 days total.

I actually prefer to take my FFH on rainy days because I like to check out the weather map on the nav screen.

I will have to start our by saying that I am a big guy 6'1" and getting close to 300 lbs (hitting the gym now so I don't break through that number). When I first drove the FFH I was worried about the seats also because you can feel the seat on your shoulders but after driving for a while the seats feel great. I feel much more secure in them than my former car, 2005 Grand Prix GXP, or my wife's Malibu Maxx.

I was also under the impression that that your status was updated on Thursday night. So if you want to call and harass your dealer I would recommend doing it on Fridays. I had my dealership call me when a VIN was assigned and when they did they told me my scheduled build date. I called again the Friday after my build date and the dealership gave me my delivery date. Took a little over 8 weeks but that was including the shut down for Swine Flu.

I think one of the biggest question marks for me is where are you located? If you are on a coast then I would say you could just wait and they may have enough allocations but if you are in the middle of the country then they may not get any allocations or your dealer may need to agree to take an additional amount of vehicles to get a hybrid allocation. My order took right around 8 weeks total and my dealer did not want deposit. Granted that kind of left me open. The dealership didn't care to much about the deposit since it was an additional car and they have had no problem selling Hybrids if I backed out.

I am getting a couple of noises that are a little concerning. The first is when I am going slowly and turning there is a "popping" noise coming from the front end. Seems like it is mostly when I am backing out of a parking spot or out of my garage. The second is the power windows. They make a loud scratching noise when going up and down. Now that my car is getting a little dirty I can see a clean band on the passenger window about an inch wide towards the front. I am debating if I should wait until my first oil change or take it in now. Other than that I love the car.

I was under the same impression, I didn't think that Home link and memory seats were available on any Fusion. But it would not surprise me because I want a spoiler but I didn't want to buy a Mercury so I will have to wait until new Fusions start to show up in salvage yards.

What issues are people experiencing with their door sills? Is the entire sill starting to come off? Does anyone have a picture of the issue? My car is still under 500 miles so everything still looks new but I want to know what to watch for. I was considering buying the lighted sills that say Fusion but I thought it was a little steep at $207 and then I don't how hard it is install the wiring for them. I wonder if they are glued on also.

Thanks for the tips. I have tried music from the USB and it has worked. I made sure that everything was off the flash drive before installing. I can't get reporting program to work either. I think Monday I will try again and if it doesn't work then i will just leave it be since i don't get much benefit becuase of having NAV.

I need some help from people that have upgraded their sync. I think this website is more active than the Sync website and it looks like several members have upgrade so I thought it would be better to ask here. I have a FFH with NAV and am trying to upgrade to ver 3.0. I know that I don't get much in functionality but I would like to upgrade so that I know I have the latest. I have tried to install the update and I have tried to install the program that confirms what version of sync you have neither will install. I have confirmed that the files are downloading to my USB drive. I have a LST file and then a SyncMyRide folder. I turn the key past accessory to run and made sure the radio is on. I am trying to install by going to Phone - Setting - Advanced Setting - Install. Everytime it tells me that it doesn't recognize the file. What am I screwing up? Could someone give me some insight because I am a little disappointed in the directions from the Sync website because it says to push NAV and then choose setting but the picture shows the phone set up and NAV does not have a setting button. Sounds like there are a couple people in the same situation. Mine was scheduled to arrive on Wednesday the third so now I am just waiting for the call to tell me it is in. Hopefully it will come in today so I can pick it up tomorrow but I have been saying that for a couple days.

Below are prices for the Ford Fusion Sport FWD in terms of retail and then X-plan. X-plan is close to invoice and there is a sub forum where you can ask someone for an X-plan PIN. With my company I think I am allowed to get 3 PIN numbers a year and I can give them out to anyone. Ford also had $1,000 cash back on all non-hybrid fusions last month, but I have not checked out the incentives for this month. My dealer accepted X-plan on my FFH but I live in a hybrid area so my dealer had one on the lot and two built when I placed my order. The dealer did say that he would not do X-plan for the car that they had in stock until the next one came in. I was under the impression that they didn't want to sell the first one they had because it was bringing in a lot of business from test drives (which is why I didn't want it, it had over 60 miles and it had been there 2 days). They do seem to be selling fast because mine should come in this week so that would mean that my dealer has sold 3 and only has one on the lot now. And they are a small dealer that only has maybe 10 Fusions at all.

Since I am having trouble getting onto the Ford site, has any of the incentives changed for the FFH or is it still nothing? Does the Ford advantige plan apply to the FFH? Also does anyone know if Ford has any unadvertised incentives going on such as conquest or loyalty offers?

Well I thought I should join this forum since yesterday I put in my order for Fusion Hybrid. I went with a Sterling Grey 502A. I really wanted a red or blue Fusion but since it wasn't offered I went with grey.
