  1. I was able to get mine through the grommet on the driver's side, if you look straight past the battery, you will see it. It comes into the cabin in the driver's footwell. It was pretty easy to get through, you just have to be extremely careful not to damage any of the wires running through there. I have a KnuKonceptz 1/0awg running through that grommet, so there's plenty of space.
  2. The factory amplifier is located in the trunk on the right-hand side behind the panel. It only powers the two 6"x9" speakers in the rear deck and I believe the low-pass crossover is set at like 150Hz or something weird like that. I've also attached Images of the two connectors for the sub amplifier.
  3. This spreadsheet should apply to Ford Fusions 2013-up with the 8" screen WITHOUT the Sony sound system.
  4. This should apply to 2013-up Fusions without the Sony sound system. I would also recommend buying a T-Harness to plug in behind the radio. It gives you the ability, at a later date, to add a 4-channel amp and upgrade the factory speakers without cutting or modifying any factory wires. A good option for the T-Harness is the iDatalink Maestro DF02, part #: HRN-DSP-FO2. It's like $30 at Crutchfield.com and well worth it because Crutchfield will include a complete Mastersheet for your vehicle for free.
  5. If there are speakers in the rear deck then the subwoofer amplifier will be in the trunk on the right-hand side behind the panel. It's just a standard 2-channel amplifier that outputs 28 watts RMS per channel. My guess is that they are blown. When factory speakers quit working, everyone jumps to blaming bad connectors or a broken wire somewhere in-line. The fact is it's very rare for the connectors to fail, and VERY common for the speakers to fail. It does happen, but not very often. As far as replacing the speakers, it's very easy. The factory speakers are 6"x9" 4-ohm impedance with a power handling of 28 watts RMS per speaker. Aftermarket 6"x9" speakers fit perfectly in the factory mounting space and you don't even need speaker brackets. You might want to add in spacers to raise the speakers closer to the openings in the panel, that's up to you. And like bbf2530, I would also highly recommend Crutchfield.com as the best place to go. They have the best customer support and help line by far.
