  1. According to the Order Guide all Job #3 changes will be effective on all vehicles built on or after 11/30/09. Subject to change.
  2. There were some extra actions taken on the S model to reduce weight to get to the best-in-class fuel economy number. I'm sure the aluminum wheels were part of that action.
  3. Red Candy is available on all models except Hybrid. Yes you can get it on a Sport and Appearance Package.
  4. Here are the Job #3 changes for 2010 Fusion. Sorry, no build dates yet. Red Candy replaces Sangria Red Microphone for SYNC moved from interior rearview mirror to headliner (not sure of specific location, I'm assuming closer to the driver) 17-inch painted aluminum wheel available for SE Fleet models Source is Ordering Guide dated October 1, 2009.
  5. I believe the the Job #2 controls are similar to the Hybrid ones shown here.
  6. The cabin filter is located in the glove box. Open the door and look toward the firewall and you can see "Filter Access Door". Not sure how to get to the filter. I could not find details in the Owner's Guide either.
  7. 2010 Fusion SEL I-4. Little less than 2000 miles. Only problem I have had is with SYNC TDI. If I use the directions function then go off route it will ask me if I want to update route, I say yes and I get either "Unable to connect phone" or it just sits there and does nothing. Anyone else have this problem?
  8. I like my Sport Blue exterior on my SEL. In the future I'm going to add the Sport Blue dash inserts from the Sport model to my interior.
  9. Job #1 means start of production. Sometimes features don't make it in time for Job #1 so they have Job #2 for those features that did not make the initial Job #1 date. I've seen Job #3 dates for trucks before. I think this is better than having to wait for the next model year for the features to come out.
  10. Atlantis Green was added to Sport as a Job #2 change. You should be able to get one now.
  11. I'm assuming you mean Rear Park Assist, also called the Reverse Sensing System. Sensors located in the rear bumper activate when the vehicle is placed in reverse. If you start to back close to an object, an audible beep will be heard. The closer you get to the object the faster the beeps. Intended to help you avoid backing into objects, or another car while paralell parking.
  12. I just went out and tried it again, shorts and no shirt. If the seatback is heated I could not tell. I really only felt it in the bottom. I'll check with my Ford contact for a definitive answer.
  13. Hmmm. Now I'm second guessing my reply. I tried mine (2010 Fusion) and only the bottom got hot plus the icon on the button only shows the bottom. I have contacts with Ford so I'll ask them when I get a chance.
  14. It's the bottom only. Two settings. Lo & Hi.
  15. It's factory. SEL and SPORT models have it. S and SE have body color I believe.
  16. Not bad. Just wanted to correct a few things. Fusion's do not offer HID headlamps. For 2010 they now have projector beams. Fusion's with V6's do not have dual exhaust. They have a 2-1-2 style. 2 pipes from exhaust manifolds, to single pipe, back into dual outlets. There are 7 ambient colors, not 8.
  17. Rodeo. I don't think the exposed LED's are annoying. They are really not that big. You can't adjust the brightness of the ambient lights. However, Ford currently offers Ambient Lighting that can be dimmed in the 2010 Taurus and 2010 Mustang. Maybe the dimming feature will be added to future Fusions. To turn the ambient lights off, just continue to press the button til they go off. There are 7 colors so the 8th time you press the button they will go off. As far as DRL's, only Fusion's sold in Canada (where DRL's are required by law) have DRL's. Hope this helps.
  18. Hmmm. Sounds like different dealers do the clunker deal different. I did not sign a mountain of parerwork when I did my clunker deal, just the normal papers that go with a car deal; loan papers, etc.
  19. Thanks for the info. This one slipped past me. I did the CFC on the Friday it was approved and did not expect to get anything back as far as scrap value. Of course I turned in a 1986 Ford LTD II but it only had 66,000 original miles on it so maybe I will still get something.
  20. Since wheels sometimes get beat up, I would look into having them powder coated vs. paint.
  21. Looks to me like the center stack and spear are silver. They almost look like brushed metal but I don't see any texture on them so that is where I get the straight up silver.
  22. SEL's come standard with leather so no upgrade on the SEL seats. You get the upgraded cloth (see picture on PDF) on the SE's.
  23. See this post. http://www.fordfusionforum.com/index.php?showtopic=2192
  24. Actually the grille is body color in the Monochrome Package. It's not "smoked chrome" like the previous Sport Appearance Package that was offered.
