I am sorry I should have been a little bit more descriptive. They are the 16" 5 spoke alloy wheels.

Does anyone have the complete wheel specs for the 2009 Fusion 5 spoke alloy wheels? I need the offset and back spacing as well.

I haven't had this problem. My car has 5300 miles on it and it still smells new. Are you sure that no one has spilled something in there and not told you about it?

8 speakers. Also my 09 came with painted alloy wheels. I bought it off of the lot that way.

What makes the FRN5 fluid different than the other fluids that transmissions use? Just curious cause I really don't know.

I have an 09 with the 2.3 and no it isn't a speedster. I came from an 07 Mustang GT with a few grand in mods and it was a big change for me. All I can say is that I do love this car for several reasons. One, it has an awesome ride and I only have the SE model. Two, the gas mileage is awesome. I am getting 30mpg combined. I do drive about 80% freeway at probably 75 mph average on the freeway. Three, the storage in the trunk is plenty more than you would expect for a car of this size. Four, in my opinion the interior is very well built. I like the layout of everything. I would say the hardest thing for me to get in touch with was the windsheild to road aspect. I was so in tune with the long hood of my Mustang that it took me a month to park it in my garage right. Complaints? None yet.

Found it! Thanks! I need to use my owners manual more.

What's wrong with my transmission?!

He probably doesn't have a dipstick for the tranny on this car. I have yet to find one on my 2009 but i could be wrong. I have never ever heard of tranny fluid turning black. So either the term used to describe the fluid condition was overly exaggerated or there is a serious problem. I agree with akirby in the shifting diagnosis.

Batteries can just flat out be defective. At my shop I have seen probably a half dozen new batteries end up not being good in the last couple of years. I have been on our parts manager to change distributors but they have been so awesome with warranties that we have decided to keep using them. I won't name the distibutor but the battery brand is a Deka. I am not all that impressed with them.

The wife drives her F-150 no matter what. She has kids to get back and forth to school and I would rather her have the 4x4. I drove my 2007 Mustang GT two winters here in Utah with no problems. I think it really is a state of mind and experience that dictates what bad weather will do to your drive in the bad weather. I think that here in Utah it is the overconfident people that cause the wrecks more than the inexperienced.

Make sure the cable you got is for an iPod. They take a different cable jack. They also make adapters for them.

Tire Pressure Sensor Monitor
Slip replied to eagrey's topic in Maintenance, Recalls and TSB (Technical Service Bulletins)
Why are you running such a high tire pressure. The pressure listed on the tire is the max pressure. You should be running about 35 psi on your tires. Did the sound happen before you replaced the one tire? If not then that would be the first thing I would check if you feel like it is tire related. -
Awesome idea! Make sure you use a spare spot that ins't being used. You wouldn't believe how many vehicles I see where someone tapped into a dedicated fuse and then they are wondering why they have electrical problems.
-
May not work. Lots of model cars have several different PCM's that they use. Check the PCM codes to make sure they match first or you may end up with two bad PCM's.
-
One time and then it doesn't do it again until after the car is driven.

Welcome! I traded my 07 Mustang GT in for my Fusion. I wish I could have went with a higher end model Fusion but my SE with the I-4 has been a great car.

I have noticed over the last month or so that EVERYTIME I exit my car when it has just been driven and it is shut off that I get a little electrical shock when I close the door. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? I know that in the winter time that this can be a common thing but I have never had it happen to me during summer months. I am wondering if the car body is not getting a good enough ground back to the battery. The car is a 2009 and it has about 4500 miles on it.

Does this pertain to the 2010 only?

Same deal here. I thought I thought I had done something wrong.

My iPhone from time to time doesn't connect. I agree with Irymal. It just isn't the most reliable connectivity method.

Fusion Sport Spoiler Install on Hybrid - Gorgeous!

Looks awesome! -
My SE had that same issue. I applied one good coat of armor-all and it hasn't come back. I don't put armor-all on thick normally because it always has something that evaporates in it and it leaves a residue on my windshield.

2009 Fusion SE I4 4000 miles no problems.
