I use the bars, and had the problem where the historical bars disappeared every now and then. After having the dealer find no problems, and his Ford engineering contacts having no ideas, as I approached two years I contacted Ford directly. Basically I explained to them that although having the historical bars disappear every now and then was not a major problem, I wished it to be resolved before I hit my two year anniversary. The problem was elevated to a Customer Care Solutions Team and they had the dealer call the Engineering Hotline. Previously the dealer had gone through their engineering contacts at Ford. Dealer was instructed to run diagnostics again, again found nothing, and was then instructed to replace the entire instrument cluster. This happened on 5/3 and the problem has not reoccurred since.
