  1. So, I'm reluctantly selling my 2006 Fusion. I got a company car, so now it just sits.....time for someone else to enjoy it. She's only got 59k on her and has been babied. I've found this forum very helpful over the past few years, so just wanted to say thanks everyone!
  2. Glad to hear I'm not the only one. I honestly thought there was something wrong with mine this whole time. I have to get the angle just right or the trigger doesn't stay activated. Depending on the handle design, I sometimes have to sit there and hold it at an upright angle the entire time it's pumping......very irritating.
  3. I had the same question when I bought my '06. Unfortunately, Ford got a little ahead of themselves in the debut year, and although the button is there, it serves no purpose as the car has no auxillary jack or anything on the back of the deck to hook one up. I ended up installing a Sony double DIN aftermarket deck with a front Aux jack and had USB run to the glove box. You'll also need an adapter to hook up the steering wheel controls.
  4. I have those wheels on my '06. I recommend them, they look great and I get comments all the time.
  5. Same here, my 2006 I4 was slow to turn-over and the airbag light was on. Replacing the battery fixed both.

    Dash Warp

To follow up.......Some super glue seems to have done the trick with the area around the airbag. The warp at the front of the dash is very slight, at least for the time being. As long as it doesn't get any worse, it really isn't noticable unless you're looking for it. Love everything else about the car so I'm hoping that the dash will hold up in the long run, as I had planned on keeping it long term.
  7. I had the same problem on my '06 and getting the belt tensioner replaced does indeed fix the issue.

    Dash Warp

I have an '06 Fusion and the dash is starting to warp around the passenger airbag and in the middle section of where the dash meets the windshield. Has anyone else experienced this? This was a Ford Certified car when I bought it in '08 so I'm wondering if I have a leg to stand on in trying to get this fixed somehow. I can only imagine how much a dash replacement would cost out of pocket and I would rather avoid filing an insurance claim...
