Thank you for replying. If that's the case then both of my keys are corrupt. Good thing I have remote start. I guess I'll need to find somewhere to test my keys and go from there.

Hi All! This issue started today. I insert the key and turn but the car will not start. All lights and the radio came on. The Anti-Theft light was blinking rapidly but I didn't count how many times. Since I needed to get to work I used the remote start and made it without issue. The manual says there is an issue between my programmed keys and the car. I'm not sure how that happened as I drove the car the day before. I'm hesitant to contact the dealer because they are not the most helpful around here. Thank you all in advance.

Hi All! After some confusion, totally on my part, I have successfully reprogrammed my remote start. The confusion was about the LED. I didn't know about the LED under the dash next to the program / override button. I couldn't even find the override button without sticking my head under the dash it was so far up. So then once I found it and realized the LED was there as well, I was able to successfully reprogram the RMST. Thank you all for all of the help you provided!!

Wow! Thanks everyone! Sorry I haven't checked in lately. I will try tomorrow when it's light out and see if I can reprogram myself. I'll let y'all know how it goes. :D

The 2011 doesn't have a USB2. Refer to the user manual.

Thanks for the replies. My car is a 2011 so I'll have to see if the dealer can disabe the MyKey or not.

Thanks but I've read that 2011 may be different than the 2010 models. I'll give the 1-800 number a call and see what they say.

Hi All! I am the proud owner of a new 2011 Fusion SEL in Bordeaux Reserve. I ordered my car with remote start and didn't know until I took delivery that the engine would shut off once the doors were opened. The car has MyKey as well but I am the only one in the household, hence no need for Mykey. I find it irritating that while I have MyKey turned off and no key programmed for MyKey, as indicated in my information center, the engine shuts off when the door is opened. Does anyone know if the year 2011 can be reprogrammed so the engine does not shut off when the door is opened? Thanks in advance!!
