  1. i get the same thing in a automatic with a cold air intake in my milan 4cyl, i am running 45 lo pro falkein ziex at 45psi w/ nitrogen... i can hit 7k rpm typically, shit bounces all over. its just front wheel and a really light car...
  2. might suggest getting your tires filled with nitrogen, molecules slightly larger, may leak less or slower. but definitly check your tires anytime you pump gas or once a week at least!! save your tires the abuse!
  3. have you tried measuring 12mm inside your wheel wells with your wheels turned as far as possible? i'm running 225mm with stock offset 18's w/ falken 45 zeix i'm unsure about the inner clearance you're having as mine are wider towards the outside
  4. did you buy bulb out eliminators or have any issues with 'check headlight' messages?
  5. i really like your trunk boxes, i wish i could do this with my 15" kickers ha... clean carpet and wire job! :D mines a little.... obtrusive.... i did wire my power wire the exact same as you did, by removing that box in your photo and placing it behind the metal plate, through the same wire loom.
  6. If i didnt hard install mine i'd use these, i'll be ordering my parents mirror taps to help my dad he drives company vehicles :D thanks for the link! 25 is not a aweful price but something anyone can do themselves. i feel the blendmount is an absurd price at 79.99, i picked up a speck mount similar to their design for 20 at target. I'd stray away from it being too visible like others mentioned. i have it in the upper drive side flush with my ceiling, i've never had a cop notice it. I have a passport escort detector hard installed with the inline mute/alert box in the corner of my gauges, i took out the gauge sill to install it. i can turn my detector lights off while its still on or mute it and get alerts by my gauges. I lived in a bad area and never leave anything visibly out in my car;
  7. hope i'm not resurrecting too old of a post; i did this on my 2008 4cyl mercury milan today; exactly what the last poster mentioned about that metal panel and box. the box has 3 nuts holding it to a second bracket, that second bracket is welded to the metal panel covering the access hole to the firewall. Once you take the bracket holding the mitsubishi box off, it has three plugs, you can move it to the right side of the steering column, remove two bigger nuts, and you'll see the magic white panel mentioned above with a bolt attatched to it (the bottom bolt of the second panel you removed. You shouldn't hurt anything removing these. to put your cable through, i snaked my cable through a hole i drilled slightly smaller then my cable in the white panel, then poked it between the rubber lining inside, to the hole where all the stock wires poke through by the cars computer. You will need to take the battery out to access the white panel under the hood, have someone hold it so you dont drop it; while undoing the tabs inside the car, behind the metal bracket you undid. i havent found any help on forums till thread hope the photos help
