  1. Have a 08 SEL. Bought in May '10. Starting this summer, the AC seems to have been taking longer to actually come on when the car is started. The hotter it is outside (especially if the car is parked in an open parking lot), the longer it takes for the AC fan to start blowing. Starting a couple days ago, this delay went from 1-2 minutes to 8-10 minutes. Even when the AC isn't on, and I just switch it over to fan, the fan doesn't turn, so I don't think it's the AC Evaporator Discharge Air Temperature Sensor (which is what I initially thought). Also, when the car is in motion, I can feel a trickle of cold air come out of the vent, which tells me that the compressor is engaged (at least I believe that would be the case). I notice that it never has the problem first thing in the morning (even this morning the AC came on immediately on cranking the car). Has anyone else seen this problem? If so, what did you find out was the case?
