I have found 3 manuals in the area. Local dealer is advertising 16555 for the base probably manual Although when I called he quoted 17555

So we are in the market for a new car right now. My 2003 Saab 9-3 is dieing and agonizing death. Well i have always been a fan of the Fusion and am thinking since a new model is oming soom 2012 Fusions should be a steal. We are looking for a Manual S and with the current rebates or possible future rebates i am hoping to get one for about 14k. I went to a stealership last night and test drove and automatic S and noticed the tranny flare which my saab had the first couple of years. They wanted 22k for it before rebates bringing it down to about 17886. I Had tried to find invoice prices and tought they were around 18600 for this model so I offered them 19600 before rebates but they said no way and let me walk. So what do y'all think do you think we can get one for around 14k in the nest couple of months? I expect maybe a 5k rebate coming soon as they try pushing the 2012's out. Am i just nuts? thanks
