Was this an order or a dealer lot purchase? I have been reading on forums and they say that the latest version created the issue but the older version worked.

Hmm seems about right, they always estimate 6-8 weeks.

Here's some info that you guys can use: You can PM http://www.facebook.com/FordCustomerService (Natasha) to get build updates on you car. Here's what she(he?) said to me when I gave her my Order Number and my Dealer name and address (Galpin):

Dealer just emailed me: Looks like it is going to be November for me. My order number was 2400+ if I recall correctly.

I think they do that because you will get more excited when they give out more information.

We seem to have almost similar dates ranging from October 20 - 23. Good luck to us

I should but technically I do not own one yet. lol I did ask for a rough estimate today though, they said October 20. My dealer is Galpin Ford, (they also own GAS - Galpin Auto Sports in pimp my ride).

Well good thing this topic exists, can't keep Googling for release dates. I've waited since the day they showed the car in Top Gear UK.
