R/E my Milaan losing power steering. I found that it steered better with the fuses out. The PS must have been fighting me. A Ford Tech. dhecked it & re-programed the PS module & it works OK???

While driving my 2010 Milan I got a message "SERVICE POWER STEERING" Then I got a message "SERVICE ADVANCETRAC" & the advance trac light came on & the steering seemed like it had a tight spot in the straight ahead position, I pulled in to a rest area & as I parked I lost power steering & there was a chime & message "SERVICE POWER STEERING NOW". It was at night & I was about 100 miles from home. I drove it home but it steered VERY hard & the steering wheel had a "catch" about every 10 degrees of rotation. It is out of warranty. The nest day it still has no power steering. The fuses are OK. Any ideas???
