Hello Fellow Fusion Owners,
I have a 2007 SEL with 24k miles. I purchased this car new and opted for the 3yr/36k warranty. So far I have had the following problems:
- Driver's side Door Handle replaced
- Gear shift bushing replaced (was stuck in Drive)
- Passenger side dash bugling around air-bag
- Driver's side Lumbar support stopped working
- Passenger side seat squeaking
- All low-end drops out of Audiophile system (turning stereo off/on) fixes
Half of these problems happened within the first 3 years and were covered but some are more recent and have been my responsibility. I'm grateful that these are small problems and the drivetrain and engine have been great, but I'm curious what (if any) recourse I may have. This is my first new car and have always been a fan of Ford but these nagging and consistant "small" problems have made me question their build quality. Perhaps there's nothing I can do, but I thought I'd ask if anyone had a recommendation. I rarely drive my car (I average 5000 miles a year) and would most likely forgive a lot of these minor problems if I had used the car more. It just seems to me that these problems shouldn't happen on a car with 24k original miles on it.
Thanks for reading, any advice would be appreciated.
