I have a 2007 4 cyl auto trans that's going on 10,000 miles and I have been getting this noise here recently. This noise not sure how to describe it but it's like a clicking or tapping noise only when the car accelerates past 35-40 mph and doesn't go away till when I decelerate below 40 mph. The noise doesn't change ie get louder with speed changes always the same and I never hear it below 35 mph or at idle. I can rev the motor after it warm and I don't hear it. That is why I'm thinking maybe a transmission issue or something lose that I'm not seeing yet under the car? Anyone heard of this type of problem, I don't want to take it to a dealer and let them have it for days without some background on it or something simple I can fix, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
