Mostly my fault, my Center console trim piece is messed up. I sctrached it and thought a small ammount of touch up paint would be a good idea. Not! Not only can I not find the correct color, certain paints melt plastic! So I had to sand it down to get rid of the wrong color and chemical reaction. Now there's a quater sized black circle on the silver trim piece. A new one is around $200. The correct color is called "obsidian metallic", which is like a flat silver, almost. I thought about wrapping the piece in '3M scotchprint vinyl wrap'. But if I do that, I may have to go right up the dashboard, keeping everything matching. I may take the console piece off and try a few different Ford spray colors that I can find in an automotive store. Any ideas on similiar colors?
