  1. Do you have access to a matco md9000? If so it will read the strategy or you could purchase a Livewire/XCal III that will read the strategy and the tunes can be emailed to you. Regards
  2. Get me the catch code and I'll take a look then report back.
  3. I had this happen on my Fussion yesterday and just ordered the part through my shop account, I'll post the part number next Tuesday once I have it in hand. This is one of those things hat shold be a recall...rediculous!!!
  4. Coupkle things to check: -Verify CPS has a good connection, have seen some of these come loose -Also verify the MAF element is clean (seen this twice last year)
  5. A tune will make a huge improvement! Seen as much as 5 mpg around town improvement and obvious HP/TQ gains
  6. The latest tune for the '09 V6 Fusions gains 5 MPG around town and gobs of power on 87 octane.
  7. Anyone try the Nokian WR G2 or Bridgestone RE960AS tires?
  8. I'm considering Yokohama Avid W4S for all season tread. Has anyone utilized these tires? Do they get good treadware? Are they a quiet and smooth riding tire?
  9. Very easy, use a small flathead to release the four retention clips, unplug the three connectors, and install the new switch and it's done. Just follow the programming sequence I mentioned earlier.
  10. This is very true. Operating a dyno and tuning with the SCT software we have also seen power loss unless compensated in the tune. E10 based petro likes to be a .5 point or more richer to make equivalent power.
  11. The swap to the autolamp switch does work. The part number Motorcraft part #SW--6602 8E5Z-11654-CA The headlamp exit delay worked after programming. Directions: Autolamps - programmable exit delay Programmable exit delay allows the length of the autolamp exit delay to be changed. To program the auto lamp exit time delay: 1. Start with ignition in the LOCK position and the headlamp control in the autolamp postition. 2. Turn the headlamp switch to O. (off) 3. Turn the ignition switch to RUN and then back to LOCK. 4. Turn the headlamp switch to the autolamp postition. The headlamps with turn on. (occasionally the first time through the steps the headlamps won't turn on) 5. Wait the desired amount of time for the exit delay you want. (up to three minutes), then turn the headlamp switch to O. (off) The headlamps will turn off. http://www.autodealertools.com/quickQuote/...2008/Fusion.pdf
