Got rid of a 2014 Malibu 1LT. Decent car, but noisy cabin and cheap interior.

Was told by the salesman that the USB socket on the new 2016 Fusion has higher voltage than the previous models to make charging cell phones as fast as using the 12V outlet. Previous models had lower voltage at the USB, hence taking a lot longer(if ever) to charge a phone.

My experience is that it is probably not a Ford issue. Traded a 13 Malibu for the Fusion, it was just as bad. Had a factory Bose system in a C6 Corvette a few years ago, and it was pretty AM sounding in that car too. I tend to take it for free trials (had 3 this year), but after dealing with them for many years, in my case it's not worth paying for. My daughter uses it, pays for it, and likes it in her 15 Fusion.

Agree, it's like listening to AM radio compared to listening to my thumb drive.

Seems you have to check the 1.5 engine option first, then the 202A option becomes available.
