I have a 2010 ford fusion hybrid and it's been kicking off on interstate when it's hot. Took it to ford and they said it's the generator and quoted me 8000$ for a whole bundle including hybrid battery and generator. Wondering if anyone knows where I can get a generator by itself for a lot cheaper, whether it would be off of a wrecked car or such?
