  1. So I swapped the battery out and it continued to have the same problem. Then, 5 minutes later, it started and continued to start all of my attempts afterwards. I drove it over to the dealership and dropped it off to have it checked out. If the battery wasn't the problem (still unsure since it did not initially fix the problem) any ideas on what else it could be? Fuse? Grounding problem? Short? ECM?
  2. Appreciate it. I will plan on doing that before I take it over to a dealership. Then, if that fixes it, I will still take it by a dealership later on to have them give it a scan/once over.
  3. My gut tells me this is probably right. Also, the vents weren't coming on, which makes me think the battery is low/bad as that requires some juice. Thanks again for responding. Hopefully I will have good news this afternoon!
  4. Also, when I locked the car from the keyfob, the horn would not sound like it usually did.
  5. Thanks for responding. It is the OEM Battery and has been on the car since late 2013, early 2014 when it was manufactured. . The terminals are clean and free of corrosion. So I was correct in assuming that a low battery can cause that barrage of error codes? Any other thoughts as to what it could be if the battery/terminals turn out to not be the culprit?
  6. First, my apologies if I posted this in the wrong forum. Over the weekend I purchased a 2014 Ford Fusion Titanium AWD with only 26K miles on it from a Chevy dealership about 60 miles from where I live (Owner is a friend, better deal). Sunday, the car refused to start. When I depressed the break and pushed the start button, the dash area let out a couple clicks, and then the following error messages began cycling: Check Rear Parking Aid, Blind Spot System Fault, Cross Traffic System Fault, AWD Malfunction Service Required, See Manual, Oil Pressure, etc. About ten minutes later, it started fine and I had no issues. (Only after I opened and closed the trunk) Then this morning, it did the same thing and I had to take my backup car to work. It is definitely going to a local ford dealership as soon as I can get it there after work today. However, I was curious if anyone else had ever experienced this and what the problem was? Low voltage on the battery? On board computer problem? Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
