I’ve check all over online but I can’t find anything. What I did was I removed the outter door handle like shown in the video you sent. After that the door wouldn’t stay shut so I tightened the screw so it would close. I can open the door from the outside but I can’t get the door handle to go back in. The mechanism needs to be reset somehow for the handle to go back in. And I’m not sure what the procedure is

I need help ASAP lol. I was replacing the exterior door handle on my girlfriends 2014 Ford Fusion I got it removed and everything just fine. After I got it out the door wouldn’t close so I tightened the screw back so it would close and now I can’t get the door handle back in. Does anyone know how to reset the handle mechanism so I can get it working again? Thanks
