  1. Thank you. Any idea what would cause it? Aside from the oil in the other two plugs everything looked fine.
  2. 2011 Fusion SE 2.5l Doing a tune up and find this mess. I’ve asked around and am told it’s corrosion from the two metals. Does that sound right? Whatever it is is very soft, can see where I poked it with a small flathead. Two other plugs had oil in the well, one just a little bit, one had a good bit. And one plug is perfectly fine. But I am concerned about the weird stuff. Sealant? Help!
  3. I have the same color in my ‘11 SE and went with Dickies brand black covers. They are the best so far. And believe me I’ve been through a lot of seat covers searching for the perfect ones. The fit is awesome, they don’t tear with all the getting in and out. Color doesn’t bleed. And they are like half faux leather, half cloth. Very nice, inexpensive covers I highly recommend. Will try to attach a pic of the packaging.
  4. Sorry, first time posting of course I’d forget the details. My Fusion is a 2011 SE. The LED bulbs I installed say “focused beam technology, won’t blind oncoming vehicles”. As far as the housing, the LEDS are just a bit longer than the halogen bulbs, being they have the cooling fan. But it’s just enough that the caps won’t stay. I’ve considered cutting an X into the cap where the fan part is and then a small circle to ensure a sealed fit, or atleast a better seal than what it is currently. But was curious if anyone had other thoughts on this. The condensation inside the housing of my brand new headlights is not ideal.
  5. So I installed H11 led headlight bulbs and with the fan being part of the light unit my dust caps won’t fit back over. Leaving them off is causing condensation to build up inside the headlight assembly and drives me crazy. Anyone figure out a way to make them work? I suppose I could cut around the fan but getting a good seal would be difficult.
  6. You have to install a resistor. I had the same issue on my ‘11 SE. Wired a resistor into the passenger side and they’ve been perfect since. Good luck!
  7. Hey first time posting so be gentle please My baby is a 2011 Fusion SE that I am obsessive about..Exterior is Ingot Silver, have black 17’s, window visors, will be tinting the windows to 35% soon as the weather cooperates. Running two 10” MTX subs on a 1000 watt Digital Designs amp..I have named her Thumper! My only issue with the appearance is the interior. The 2 main colors-grey, which is just fine but the weird tan like color has got to go. So I bought a few rolls of black carbon fiber vinyl wrap. But I’m not sure where or how to start? Any suggestions/advice greatly appreciated! Thanks ~BamaInkdGrl~
