  1. Any decent quality videos showing the gasket replacement?
  2. Noticed some oil on the garage floor from my 2010 SEL 3.0, 278K miles. Hard to tell from my initial view but it looks like seepage around the oil pan. Is this a common/likely source? I’ll take a closer look tomorrow but am looking at possibilities tonight. Any good guides for replacing the pan gasket? Other possibilities?
  3. 2010 SE 3.0 is my daily driver (though it’s been more like once a week since the pandemic). She has 278K miles and runs like a champ! She’s showing her age a bit cosmetically, but engine and drivetrain are solid. She also sat for 3 months (with a Ford-paid rental) while waiting for a replacement gas tank for one recall (active leak), another long stint waiting for a passenger airbag in another recall...I wonder how long it will take to get airbags for the recall announced yesterday?
  4. Thanks @bbf2530. I pulled the caliper and the glide pins were fine; however it appears that the piston itself is the culprit -- I tried to compress it before I mounted the caliper again, and I couldn't get it to budge. Ordering a replacement tonight. I know there are kits available to rebuild them, but I'll pass on that one
  5. Hello everyone, Just recently, I started getting some intermittent vibration in the front end of my 2010 Fusion, 270K miles. So intermittent, in fact, that I thought maybe some mud or clay had gotten caked inside one of my rims. Today, it came back and was worse than it had ever been. It felt like one of my tires had slipped a belt or something...it got worse as I approached highway speed. I stopped and inspected all four tires and noticed nothing. Got back on the road, and it smoothed completely out. Stopped for some groceries, and when I got back on the road it was doing it again. When I went out to take a deeper look, I noticed that the driver front rim was very warm to the touch, and the brake rotor was too hot to touch. The other three rims and rotors were cool. I also raised the front end and the driver side does not spin as freely as the passenger side. So....where do I go from here? Rotors and pads are good all the way around. Could this be the driver side caliper seizing up at times? Thanks for any input. Mike
