  1. Hello all, I am having to replace my 1.5 ecoboost on my 2016 fusion and need to know if the 1.5 ecoboost on the escape is Interchangeable. They are more prevalent and cheaper than any one marked fusion for some reason. I was told by a mechanic it was but I would like some independent verification. By picture it looks ideNtical.
  2. So the only way is to take it to the dealer and pay them to diagnose it? Is there a mileage limit on the recall? I have only heard of a tsb for this matter, not a recall
  3. Does anyone know the parts that are upgraded? Like the short block part numbers? I just bought this car. Newest car I've ever owned, lowest mileage and this bs happens. I cannot afford to put in a new engine so I'll have to do the work myself.
  4. I have no coolant loss. What does that have to do with my question?
  5. Oh and it's a 2016 fusion with 1.5 eco boost. 103k miles.
  6. Hello. I had a p0302 code (misfire in cyl 2) so I change the spark plugs. They were factory with 99k on them so Krug ire's they were due anyway. That didn't do it. So I swapped the #3 coil with #2. Still misfiring in #2. So I deduced it was a bad injector. I pulled the fuel rail and the only injector that came out with the rail was #2. I replaced the old one with the new one and put the rail back on. When I reassembled everything I have leaks are each and every injector it looks like. Should I have put some white lithium on the Orings before I installed the fuel rail? I'm just wondering the normal procedure and now trying to see if I need all new injector seals now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
