I have a 2010 Fusion SE 2.5 with 60,000klm. For the past 6 months I have noticed that after I refuel. I have a stuttering from the engine for about 10 15 seconds. I am thinking that maybe there may be a vacuum in the tank and it may be causing fuel to not be pumped from the tank. Next time I am going to try starting after refuelling with the gas door open. Any ideas?

My wife drives a 2010 Fusion SE (front wheel drive). I was looking at getting some winter tires and rims for this coming winter. I was quoted for install balanced on steel rims $700.00 taxes in. The tires are Hercules Wanli. Has anyone heard of these and if so. What have you heard. The driving she does is around town, shopping/work and some highway. Thanks

Checked post, all clean and with good tight connection. Used a volt meter and found that at idle I was getting a reading of 14.9v and with all loads turned on the reading was 12.5. Battery was replaced about 2 months ago. I tried the old school of checking the alternator by disconnection the battery terminal and the engine died. I have since been told that with these new engine this test does not work. Any suggestions as too what to look for. My son drives about 40 miles each way to school and back and with the weather being as cold as it is I would feel better knowing and fixing this issue. So he is not stranded on the side of the road.

My son's 2003 Focus died while driving on the road. Diving down the road with the heater on and no lights or any other power draw, he noticed that all the gauges in the dash shut down and then in approx. 20-30 seconds he lost power and then the engine died. He had it towed back home and now I am trying to figure this out. Another point is that my wife drove the car earlier the same day and noticed that the battery light came on and off a couple of times. My son says the same thing happened to him as well. This morning I went out and started the car, and it started up fine. I let it warm up a bit and went inside to get a coffee and when I came back out the engine had died. Tried to start it but the batter was died so I gave it a boost with my truck and pulled the Focus into the garage and as of now am letting it idel. going out to check the voltage charging on the battery. Anyone have any suggestions as where to look first?

I have a 2010 Ford Fusion SE, with the optional "MYKEY" feature. I have looked in my manual for instructions to program this but am unable to locate. Could some help me the this quest. I have looked on the internet and have done some searches but to no availe.

I just purchased a 2010 Fusion SE for the wife and the only thing that is missing, are the auto lamps. My wife has gotten used to not turning on her lights when it gets dark and sometimes for gets to turn them off. I have the auto dimming mirrors, sync and fogs. Does anyone know if by replacing the switch will they work?

Anymore updates to this great upgrade? I have a 2010 SE and would love to install one of these. I have the sync and audiofile built-in. Am I to understand that the mic is in the mirror?

Thanks guys. I drive a f250 diesel and have not maintained a gas engine from new for a while. So I would like to have this one last as long as possible. So someone posted that some metal was found in the engine oil as early as 1000 miles. How about just changing the filter at 1000 miles and let the oil stay till 5000klm?

I would like to know how to program the ford fusion remote start to run longer then the default 5 mins.

I just purchased a new 2010 Fusion SE. It started with 120KLM (80MILES). When should I have my first oil change? Can I start with sync oil or not so soon?
