  1. I have two different vehicles and have had them for three years, painted black. I acutally took a Black Marks-a-lot marker and blackened the back and sides. Mine is mounted with a black plastic suction cup holder. Being black it is much less noticeable, through the windshield. I hadn't tried the dashboard storage bin on the Fusion, but of course my F-150 doesn't have one of those.
  2. I'm interested, but it looks like we need a lot more people. I have a 2010 Hybrid, Light Ice Blue.
  3. I have read online where some others have changed their rear valance and the single Exhaust to the dual set-up. It is an expensive swap, but does look nice. Teh plastic valance is aobut $60. The Exhuast can be all over the place in cost, depending on brand and if stainless steel.
  4. I have no experience at it, but have read online that others have done it. You have to remove the inner trunk Liner and you can get to the back of the clips which hold on the bar.
  5. My family isn't big on auto's or truck gifts either. They all just expect to get-in & turn the key & go. They aren't big on cleaning or preventive maintance, but I am. The weather has been "OK", and I should have washed and waxed again for winter. I hope to still get the chance, before winter really arrives.
  6. I hope the Battery fixes your problem. My Battery stays with the Cell Red. I have had to jump my car twice, in the past year, but I have not had any warnings or alarms ever go-off. I just get in the car and turn the key and nothing will happen. I took the car to the Dealer once and had them check the Battery and they told me it was "OK". I know the Batteries are very low on cranking amps, because the car doesn't need it, but sometimes it is good to have extra. The car should be able, to not be driven for a week and still function properly.
  7. It's good to hear some company's still have good Customer Service. I get your two color scheme, most of the fusions are multi-colored on the interior parts. My 2010 Hybrid interior is really three different colors.
  8. I don't think mileage will matter for body rust. I beleive it is covered for five years. Good Luck!
  9. Has anyone purchased and installed? How do you like it?

06FuSiOn3.0L - I'm sure you should sound loud with basically straight pipes. I also know you can get away with that in SC, but not in many other states. It would seem to me this would affect performance a lot, because now you have no back pressure at all. I can see from you tickets it hasn't affect top end. You really better slow down, before you or someone else gets hurt. In VA going (103), would have probably landed you in jail.
  11. I saw the first 2012 Hybrid, at my VA dealer this week. According to the window sticker, it was produced on 10/10/2011.
  12. Yes, Hopefully those parts will take care of your issue. These new cars have so many sensors, something to monitor everything.
  13. Sorry, we seem to be off to an early start on the winter season. Real winter isn't supposed to start until December 21st. There was snow as far south as Virginia last Saturday.
  14. You can go to a tire that has more sidewall / taller. Most of the new cars all have low profile tires, which do handle better, but ride with less cushion. If you change the tire size very much, of course your speedometer will be wrong on speed and mileage.
  15. Looks good. I may have to get a set, maybe as one of my Christmas gifts to myself / car.
