  1. Congrats, I have the same color on my SEL and it is gorgeous. Enjoy
  2. yea, the stuck wheels really grew on me too. I see a lot less similarto those than the 5 spoked ones of the sport which I seem to see on every other car here.
  3. It's finally here. I ordered it on Mar 3rd and we took possession on May 10th. Brand new 2010 SEL Candi red. Here are some pics that we took today. It is kind of dirty because we were on our way back from a 400 miles drive. It is pretty bland since the only options I took have to do with the cold here in Quebec and the NAV system which I love. I'll add the spoiler and a shark fin sometime this summer. It was only lightly detailed the day after I got it because all I want to do right now is drive it. Just a good wash and a coat of maguiar's. Picture didn't want to load. here is a link to photobucket. Hope this works. http://s1030.photobucket.com/albums/y363/brunor_2010/
  4. One thing that could cause this is if the impedance input of your amp and the impedance output of the radio differ, causing a current overdraw at the o/p which would in turn cause the output converter to shutdown to protect it from frying. Or if the amp requires more power than the output converter is able to provide which again would cause your output to shutdown to prevent damage. I don't have the schematics or specs of the radio, but they usually have some sort of overcurrent protection built in. I know from some posts that pple have added after market amp and subs so browse on the forums and check what they have. If the shop has some electronic knowledgeable pple they should also be able to verify that, as long as they have the o/p specs (i.e x mW/x ohms, etc...)
  5. Lucky you. I still have a few weeks of waiting for mine. Let me know what you think of the NAV system. I took that option too even though it is fairly expensive but you get more than GPS with it too. Mine is going to be Candy red SEL. I even dream of it too. Nice thing is here in Quebec, (like for you in Ontario) the winter will be completely over. Enjoy and have fun.

    Another Noob

Lucky you. I ordered mine 1st week of march and still have another 4-5 weeks wait. It's being built this week (3rd week of March). Really can't wait. I wish I could sleep for a month and wake up to go and pick it up. SEL i4 Sangria red, Automatic with NAV.
  7. I ordered a Fusion SEL and it won't be built before the 3rd week of March. I've read a lot about poor visibility when backing up so I talked to my salesman rep and enquired about having the backup camera installed (I do have the NAV unit option installed) and it is still possible to have it installed at the factory for 500 cdn dollars. Here is my question. Is it worth it? I won't have the BLIS system, just the camera. Now, as you realize, with the car being built sometimes next week, the deadline to order it is very short so a quick answer would be appreciated. Those of you who have it, do you find it useful, etc.... Thanks in advance. Can't wait till end of April, early May till my car is delivered. I keep my cars forever or until they are declared dead without possibility or ressucitation. My last car is (was) a 1991 Plymouth Sundance bought brand new so you can imagine what an upgrade it is for me. although I loved it till the end. Hey! it did last longer than many marriages and it didn't leave with half my paycheck and pension lol.
