  1. This car has been solid! No issues at all. Here recently however, the battery will be dead after the car has sat for a day. I replaced the battery about 9 months ago and recently it was dying on me. I took it in and it was deemed bad and was replaced under warranty. Now were having this issue. There has to be a current draw somewhere on it. Is there something common that would cause this? No modifications made, everything is stock. Has 1 burned out driving light bulb. Any ideas? Thanks
  2. I figured the tire place was trying to unnecessarily sell me on something. And as far as rotation goes, no I had not rotated them as I should have.
  3. Thats what I was thinking. Thank you!
  4. I have a 2017 Fusion S with the 2.0. I had 4 tires put on today originally planning on just 2 front ones. The 2 rear tires had plenty of tread except for the inside of the tires, they were cupping. I was told I needed to replace the back shocks. Does that sound right? The car has 100k on it. Thanks
  5. Got it done, super easy. Passenger side tire had to come off. Simple fix though. Thanks
  6. My daughter said a light came on, on the dash and the Fusion (2017, 2.5, S model) was making a funny noise. Then smoke. After I got home from work I took a look and found a live possum in the engine compartment and a broken serpentine belt. I picked up a new belt but cannot find anything on how to replace it. Looks like the second, smaller belt has to come off first. Can anyone guide me through replacing it?

Okay folks, its fixed, finally. Had a mechanic look at it that thought he could help. No dice. Took it to Ford and the IPC was indeed bad. A new one ($454.00) was installed things are reprogrammed and it works. However somewhere in there the remote start has been disabled. Looking closer I found this... the question now is which holes do the wires go into? Its a Ford Remote start and has always worked fine. Any ideas?
  8. Well what do you know! It works. Thats a cool feature and I only thought of was on the SE and SEL. I had to have hit the button while it was in my pocket. Thanks
  9. Agreed. I didn't think I had the Global Window option in an S model. I will check it out when they are done getting tires on it.
  10. I didn't see another place to post this so I thought I would start here. I have a 2017 S, 2.5. No remote start, fairly plain Jane. I parked it in the garage overnight in my garage as I always do. I came down this morning to go get tires and all of the windows were down, the trunk popped and the doors were locked. Any ideas why?

Okay, disregard. IPC= the dash cluster, not the PCM. Right?

Or is it in a different place?

Okay so for clarification... are we talking about the pcm behind the battery on the firewall?

So what if I got one from a junk yard to have flashed? Obviously putting it in the vehicle first.

Yes, the brake lights come on and it does shift. I just had a guy come out from a locksmith. He was able to plug in and find that the computer didnt show any key code was in it. He tried to change the 'chip' in the key and as soon as he put the key in the ignition and turned it, the alarm went off. He said that the computer on the car needs to be flashed. Sounds like I will be heading off to the dealership... ugh. I will see if I can find someone who does it but Im afraid I will have to have it towed. Thank you all for the help.
