I still cannot get my car in to programming mode...

I tried for 45 minutes last night to put my Fusion in Programming Mode with zero success. I have no idea why I was so unsuccessful to put my car into programming mode. Does it matter if the radio is on or off? Is there anything else other than the doors being unlocked, that I may have wrong? Any help/advice/tips are welcomed!

I finally got around to getting the key cut at Wal-Mart yesterday. The gentleman that was working was extremely hesitant about cutting the key, so I told him that I would remove all liability off of him if it doesn't work. Tonight, I plan on following the instructions and programming it to my car!

Bought mine on the 8th of September and it had 200 miles on it. Today, on the drive into work, I eclipsed the 5,000 mile mark. I will easily have over 200 more miles by the end of the weekend, which means I should have put 5,000 miles on it in two months.

Bummer.... I just bought one through the dealership last week...

I just got my key in the mail, yesterday. Hopefully I can get it cut and programmed in the near future.

Being that I live in Northeastern Ohio and winter is approaching, I have decided that I should purchase some Mudflaps (or Splash Guards) as Ford calls them. I went on the Ford Accessories website and noticed that they are priced at $45.50 for a pair, so that's $91 dollars for all four. They also have give the option for them to be installed on my car for an extra $39 for a set. (http://www.fordaccessoriesstore.com/GfaWeb/catalog.do?prodInfo=Fusion~2010~AE5Z_16A550_BA). My question is for those of you that have purchased Splash Guards, how much did you pay for them and did you have the dealership install them or do it yourself? And, if you did it yourself, is it easy to do? Any advice, help or insight that you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and help.

I just purchased this key on eBay last night! Can't wait to get it! The trouble will be trying to find the time and a place to go get the key cut!

mkpolley, bbf2530 is correct. The 'Media' button will change the media source for you (From FM to Sirius to CD to Sync to AM, etc)

Hello All! I became a proud owner of a new 2010 Ford Fusion SEL on September 8th (just a few short weeks ago). I found this forum and became a member two weeks ago today. I have thoroughly enjoyed this forum and the insight provided from all of the members. This place has been a great resource for me as a new Fusion owner. Thank you all for that! This was my first car purchase and I couldn't imagine being any happier with anything else. I bought a 2010 Tuxedo Black Metallic Fusion SEL with a 2.5L I-V Engine. It has the Charcoal Black Interior and I got the Rapid Spec 301A Package (the 'Moon and Tune' [Power Moonroof and Premium Sony Sound System]) and a Rear Spoiler. I do a lot of driving (mostly highway driving) and have already put on close to 1,800 miles on it since I bought it on the evening of the 8th. I've been averaging 32.3 miles per gallon and have been very pleased with that, as I had been driving a '95 Ford Mustang Here are some pictures of my car: I've always been a fan of Ford and I thought I would have a hard time deciding to garage my Mustang, but the Fusion has definitely done a great job of taking its place. I really like the look and feel of the Fusion!
