I'm looking to install an aftermarket head unit in my 2012 SE without navigation. All of the dash kits I've found include the slot for the info screen. My new head unit will already display that information, so it is just a redundancy. Has anyone found a dash kit that abandons the stock info screen? Attached is a photo of what I've found available, as well as a stock bezel for the Navigation option which is what I'm hoping to find except with the regular non-nav control cutouts. I'd also be willing to do a swap for the stock Nav bezel. I know it's pretty involved and is not plug and play, I just haven't found information on everything that would actually need to be swapped. If I could find that info, I do have the skills to complete it.

Good Morning all! This is my first car that I've ever purchased (albeit a used car ) and ever since then I've been looking up ways to 'improve' my car. I started off by buying an HID conversion kit from OPT7. I bought an 8k 55w Slim OPT7 AC HID Conversion kit off of eBay from opt7-lighting themselves. I've been reading and people are talking about if they are 'slim' conversion kits a wiring harness is usually not needed - others say different. I have some Sylvania ZXE Xeon bulbs on right now in the car - (and they SUCK). The bulb packaging for the ZXE say the bulbs are 12.8v, 55w like the HID kit? Thanks for all your help! Here is the link to the kit I purchased : -Click-

I'm thinking about purchasing the oem interior ambient light kit, but I had a couple of questions I can't seem to find answers to anywhere. First off, how are these lights controlled? Are they going to be integrated into the MyFord Touch system like it is on the Titanium trim? If not, is there another kit I can purchase, that will work with this? Second, is this something that is fairly easy to install yourself? Or should I look into having the dealer do it for me... Any help with any of these questions would be greatly appreciated! Cheers

Hello All, I am mulling over putting in a HID kit for my Fusion. I prefer 5,000K for the car, I think that 6k is to blue, and the 5k has more of a blue tint than 4,300k. I don't want to run into issues with a cheap and poorly constructed kit. I was wondering what would be recommended for a quality HID kit. Thanks, Joe
