I have a device that requires to be plugged in to the cigarette lighter. I don't drive the car everyday sometimes maybe not even for a week or so. If I forget to unplug it, the battery will die. In my old GMC Truck i hooked up the cigarette lighter to the wire that feeds the radio when the key is on and that worked fine. I planned to do the same here... I tried to find the same wire on this radio but I'll be honest I only found one radio wire being fed 12v and it was constant. Anyway... Does anyone have any ideas how to get the lighter to shut off with the key? 2010 Ford Fusion SE 2.5L (On foreign vehicles the power to the cigarette lighter was killed with the ignition key which is my goal)

I have a 2015 Energi. Love the car. Love the ACC. I noticed a lot of the other cars, I.e. jeep, Subaru, Mercedes, Range Rover, all have the adaptive cruise control but it also works in traffic so the car will actually stop in traffic. Wondering if there is a way to re-program the computer to allow for this. I was told by someone that the European models will stop all the way on the ACC>
