My Titanium Eco Boost has had weird electronic glitches in the past and, in fact, has had to be repaired in the past. Last night, without ANY warning, when I tried to start the car from the "power on" mode, it would not start. Then several different warning lights blinked on and off then everything went black, accept for the parking lights which I could not turn off. I thought perhaps by key fob needed new batteries so (luckily I was parked at a store) I replaced them; it made no difference. Eventually the parking lights did go off and the car is completely unresponsive. I cannot even pop the trunk lid with inside release. The gear shift will not move thus it cannot be towed out of it's parking space.
Is there a "main brain" for the electrical system? Why would it suddenly just stop working? Thankfully I was parked and not driving down the road. Could this be something as simple as a fuse? Need help ASAP!
