In the past, these issues were mostly caused by the 12 volt battery needing to be replaced. Your vehicle is around 5 yo so it sounds like it should be replaced. That's the easiest and most economical option.1 point -

Won't work, wiring/pcm will be different amongst other things. I don't think I would repair a car with that engine, they are terrible and unreliable for sure.1 point
