I cant believe there is only one option for an intake on this engine. I'm sure I'll breakdown eventually and pay the $400.

I have a 2010 fusion. does anyone know if 18 x 9 with a 30 offset will fit without rubbing or come outside the fender. Thanks!

Is our only option the steeda intake for the 3.5L?? Id pick one up for $299 from steeda.com but was told to buy it off of steeda Canada since thats where Im from but I have a tough time spending $365cdn plus taxes. ($408) on just an intake. Do you guys know of any other brands for our cars? My buddy just picked up a brand new K&N system for his 2010 Tacoma and paid $225 cdn. I phoned KN but they only have a system for the fusion 4cyl.

Im sure that way will work too, Im just picky I have to fully remove parts to paint, plasti or tint. Yeah those top clips were a bitch, A 20 minute job ended up taking me over an 1 hour.

Hey Thanks! I actually ended up figuring it out. I did exactly what you said here. And I hear you about that top clip you cant see, that one was driving me crazy. Once you get those assemblies out you then have access to the amber corners. Theres a screw underneath the fog assys holding er in. I removed those to tint them out properly, Once done I'll post some pics to show the difference.

Do any of you guys know how to remove the circled parts on the bumper, just the chrome pieces. Im thinking I have to get behind bumper, through the wheel well. or do they just pop out? thanks in advance

You dont want to rough up the chrome just in case you decide you dont like the black. You can peel it right off.

Haha thanks for googling that for me! I noticed people were doing this Home Depot lip to their cars. I was hoping there were more options that I couldnt find. Are you guys doing anything to modify the front bumper, Ive looked everywhere to find a different front bumper or lip. This car needs a little something in that department. thanks!

definitely looks good with the drop. these cars need it to get rid of that nasty gap. I've dropped most vehicles i've owned with proper springs and I've never had a problem. I personally like the whacky rims! Looks Cool!! I wouldnt pick it myself, but thats a good thing because if we all did the same thing it would be pretty boring out there.

Really like the drop and rim selection!!

I think the tinted ones look good on the darker colored fusions and the clear looks good on the white ones. They stick out like a sore thumb the other way around. imo
