  1. Here she is. I had the windows tinted few days ago. 35% front 2 roll ups and 5% back 3 rear and 5% front eyebrow. I need to find a good front license plate bracket for the front of the car since California i will get a fix it ticket eventually if i get caught. Just a matter of time.
  2. Thank you that is good to know. So the car has brand new tires as i could see and also i have the car fax app and it shows it has brand new tires installed at 33k miles from Ford my car has 34k miles now. Michelin Primacy mxv4 mxv4 m+s so far they handle very good on pavement. I should be good. My sport will only be driven a couple thousand miles per year since i have also have a 2017-fusion hybrid as my daily car i use for work. I love how the sport drives/handles and is fast if you need the power. I just want to mod it a bit a cold air intake be my first mod if i do.
  3. That is good info to know. Pretty good feature it runs of several fuels. Yea i bought this car for fun and also for the snow trips. Wonder how it handles in the snow. I will be taking it to Tahoe in the winter time.
  4. Im new to the sport section. I just bought a used 2017 Fusion Sport magnetic gray color 1 week ago at a Ford Dealership. 34k miles on it. Immaculate condition. Had some questions about it. What is recommended or better fuel for it, 87 or 91 octane is there a benefit using either besides improved performance for the higher 91 ? Also it has new Michelin Primacy all season tires on it. What you guys think of these tires? Any performance upgrades you guys recommend for the sport to boost more power ?
  5. Thank you for the info and help. I considering a 2.0 EcoBoost or the sport. I like how the intelligent awd system use either 2 or all tires to spin depending the terrain and power draw. Its nice that's its auto detect. I test drove a 17 sport today and notice it had that feature but might settle for the 2.0 since it has it. I thought it was only available on the sport
  6. I am new to the awd section. Coming from a hybrid. Anyways im looking to get a 2017-2018 fusion titanium EcoBoost 2.0 liter. Does anyone know if these awd 2.0 litres have a intelligent awd system just like the 2017 fusion sport awd?
  7. These hybrids seem literally bulletproof. Amazing how yours still holding up so well mine has 100k less and running strong still.
  8. I have a 2010 black fusion hybrid with 218k miles. I reprogrammed the HVB with a computer. Runs strong and still gets excellent gas mileage 40s-50s mpg easily most trips including highway. AC still blows cold. Only issue i haven't fixed is my Auto headlights it stays on and flickers in the auto on positon so I have to manually turn it on and off but love this car. I got a 2017 Fusion Hybrid too!
  9. I tried doing this today with my friend the mentioned item i got from Amazon item bbfly-BF32302 and it wouldn't let me load the software for the device on my windows computer it kept saying the website didn't work/couldn't be displayed. So i returned it. is there any other odb2 I can use with a smartphone android device that would work... any recommendations or what ones have you guys used for the "Fix"? I'm looking to buy one where I can use with my smartphone i don't mind paying the fordacan app niether.
  10. I agree what's the point of owning a hybrid if it's not working properly after certain amount of time especially if it's happening to everyone that has a 2010 model. some dealers will do the reset but I'm going to end up doing it myself just like you did I'm sure we'll fix it the car runs pretty damn good for having this many miles I've taken very good care of it and I commute far daily 120+ miles. Thanks a lot for all the information I'll keep you updated to see how mine comes out I should be able to do it many steps but looks simple
  11. Thanks im going to buy the things needed for the job and see how it goes next week. I'll keep you guys updated looks like that will do it
  12. no the battery charge level is fine. I'm talking about the EV green lines i use to get around 2 bars normally to use EV in the city where i use to easily get 45-50mpg. Without the power bracket column I barely can get in the mid 30s which is huge drop. On highway speeds of 50-70mph I can get really good gas mileage between 38-44mpg.
  13. Sounds good thanks for the information just trying to help out with the info I noticed many people that have the 2010 hybrid model are having these issues with the EV not functioning properly. One thing I did notice I would always get the wrench light when I went 70+mph on the freeway and that did not happen so far today which the reprogram must have fixed. But this pic just took car is warmed up but that is all the EV threshold line will go up to which doesn't really give me any room to drive in EV barely in the parking lot too. Is that what your getting too ? I remember i use to the first line or just past that all the time. That's why I'm wondering if my battery is degrading...
  14. I have a 2010 Fusion Hybrid with 206k miles. I've been having issues like many others that can't keep the car in EV mode under 47mph. The EV green bracket barely gives me any room to drive in EV. So I took it to the Ford dealership I told them the issue and told them to reprogram the car's personality to 1 year from what I read other's have done. So I got the car back yesterday and it was working a little bit still not much of a threshold but a little like i could barely maintain the speed at 40mph. The battery still stays charged in the middle most of time. They told me they found two codes in the system as you can see in the description of my paperwork from the ford dealership but still doesn't work like it use to. Is maybe my hybrid battery at the end of life ?
  15. I just don't understand why Ford put Goodyear Eagle LS2 tires on the titanium models but the SE gets the Michelin Energy Savers doesn't make sense since it's a hybrid. Definitely a lot cheaper the Goodyear Tires but to me they're not worth it for being fuel efficient
  16. Thank you yes I'm very happy with my car now getting better MPGs then my older hybrid and I'm still learning how to drive this one even more efficient since I can go and Ev mode at much higher speeds. On my way home from work I also got the most I've ever had 44 mpg and my older hybrid would get 39 Max driving the same route. I believe them raising the EV speed has helped me a lot so far been getting better MPGs and the right tires. Huge difference tires make on a car I'm keeping this car till at least 200k miles. My friend bought my 2010 with 195k miles and he loves it says it's so smooth I take really good care of my cars.
  17. Thank you I ended up going with the Michelin Energy Saver a/s tires since I had very good results with my last Fusion Hybrid so far these are my favorite tires for comfort and fuel efficiency. My last set lasted me 70k miles. I always rotated them evey 10k miles.
  18. So i got all 4 new same tires today at Costco just like I had on my 2010 Fusion Hybrid and all the drag is gone! I can't believe having three different brand tires on my 2017 hybrid caused so much drag. And my MPGs went up easily. I got 50.3 miles per gallon on my commute to work in eco mode. Most ever!
  19. That's good to know I had a friend that has had the Defenders and he loved them on his Fusion he had a gas version though. My 2010 hybrid most of the time it was at half charge or higher even after I used it for a little bit this one seems to be low most of the time I can't really do much EV like my old car. The 2017 model doesn't show a little up ^ Arrow on the battery when it's charging from the generator just a little circular one in the middle of the battery maybe they got of the arrow in this year. I know the 13 models had that arrow ^ from what I've seen on YouTube
  20. Yeah Goodyears are a lot cheaper about $100 per tire Michelin Energy did me very well I've had two sets of tires with very good mpgs. I've been looking at the Defenders also but do you got a lot less MPGs with those on the hybrid compared to energy tires ?? So you're saying this model Fusion Hybrid has more Dynamic braking compared to my 2010 ? I had no idea cuz I feels like someone's stepping on the brake when I release the gas completely even going downhill which i find odd. I keep thinking something's wrong with the car but maybe you're right that's what it is. I feel like I barely have to use the brake most of the time especially going downhill compared to my 2010 I wish I could use it more so I could charge up the HV battery to get better mpgs. Most of the time I have half charge or 1/3 of battery on average
  21. no it's in regular D I still haven't used eco mode yet neither. I think I'm going to purchase a set of 4 new Michelin Energy Savers a/s for this car to see if I can achieve gas mileage like my last hybrid or better hopefully. I haven't read too much good stuff on the Goodyear Eagle LS2 tires for fuel efficiency plus they're cheaper alot cheaper also.
  22. Perfect my car is 34K miles on it and two tires were replaced at 26k which I believe are Goodyear ls2 cuz they look pretty New since it shows on the carfax. and the back ones both are different. I think I'll change them out this weekend and go from there still continues I'll make an appointment at Ford for the drag issue im noticing. But then again I'm kind of tempted to just replacing all 4 with the Michelin Energy Saver a/s from Costco they worked amazing on my 2010 Fusion Hybrid even though they had 17 inch rims and this car has 18" rims I think I could still achieve pretty good gas mileage with this car. I'm having a hard time finding the Goodyear LS2 at tire shops around me. Having all four with the same thread amount I think would be the best bet plus better fuel efficiency and going from there like you said thank you
  23. I'm noticing some differences in this 2017 Fusion Hybrid titanium model compared to my 2010 Fusion Hybrid and want to know if this is normal or something wrong with the car. First when I'm going down a hill this car seems to slow down and not flow freely like my 2010 did which achievement better fuel economy. Also on most straight paths it seems to just slow down quicker. I have a harder time keeping it an Ev mode at 60 miles an hour on a straight smooth paths. I can barely charge the ev battery to 50% max most of the time. And its not windy. It's just seems weird to me I don't have to use the brakes barely going downhill like I did with the 2010 also I have to put my foot in the pedal more to maintain the same speed on the same route as my 2010 my 2010 hybrid had Michelin energy saver a/s tires and 17 inch rims stock this car has 18 in stock rims and 3 different kinds of tire brands which I don't know if that's what's affecting it... the front two are Goodyear Eagle LS2 which are stock for this titanium model and the rear one is Presa psas and the other tire is Iron man imove gen II. So would this be causing the drag or is maybe cause it's a different transmission and engine compared to my 2010 ? Also i was thinking of either getting 2 new tires in the rear the Goodyear Eagle Ls2 or would getting 4 Michelin energy saver A/S 235/45/R18 be more fuel efficient since they are LLR tires? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to maximize my gas mileage.
