No nothing like that. Starts up at low speed and continues into higher speeds. Seems to quiet down after warming up. I'll be taking it into my mechanic this morning. May need a transmission fluid flush. I just don't want something tearing in the meantime. It would be too expensive to replace any of these components. Thanks.

I have a 2007 AWD SEL automatic and it has operated flawlessly for last 3 years. We have 123,000km and it seems to have developed a gear noise starting at low speed. It is not the tires and all AWD components are sealed. There has been no oil leaks detected in the driveway. It there any lube points on this system that may need attention. Transmission fluid is normal and at proper level. I have not climbed under to look for myself but does not sound or feel like a CV joint problem. Anyone with ideas? Thanks, Kruzinkyle
