  1. I have now owned my 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid since I bought it on clearance six years ago and it's better than ever. The only repairs I have needed are a new rotor and caliper for one wheel and a replacement driver's side mirror after my neighbor crashed into it with her car. She paid for the repairs, though, and luckily I didn't need to use the car for two days because the dealer ordered the wrong part after I specified TWICE which part they needed to order. This is the best car I have ever owned. My long-term fuel economy is currently 40.5 mpg. Lately, I have been averaging between 42-50 mpg on my commute to work, which is mostly what I use the car for. I was so pleased with this car that when it was time to get my wife a new car, we bought another Ford. She now drives a 2014 Ford C-Max Energi that we charge up with the solar panels on our roof. It's amazing, like having our very own gas station that continuously produces its own fuel. Someday far in the future when it actually becomes necessary to replace my FFH, I think I'll get the Energi model so I can get the electric range too. Hope everyone else is pleased with their Ford Fusion Hybrid too. Ford knocked this one out of the park.
  2. I live in Central New Jersey and we've been hit by the most snow that we've had in 62 years. I have owned a 2010 FFH for about two weeks. So far, the FFH has handled winter weather well. I haven't had any problems with traction. Of course, I have kept the speed down in the bad weather, but I've averaged 33 mpg overall and up to 41.8 mpg in city driving with the heater and radio on. The only tire problem I had was when I struck hidden debris on the New Jersey Turnpike and had to replace a tire. Unfortunately, Michelin doesn't offer a warranty against road hazard damage even for the first few thousand miles, unlike some other brands.
  3. This might be a stupid question, but I haven't had a car with an exterior antenna in quite some time. Can you take a Fusion through an automated car wash or will that damage the antenna?
  4. I just bought a brand new 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid with Rapid Spec 501A on clearance last week. It was the last one they had at my local dealer: Atlantis Green exterior, Charcoal Black eco-cloth interior. I bought the car at a discount through my union's auto buying program. I also took advantage of Ford's $2000 in cash incentives, so the ending price for it was $24,700. I believe that is pretty far below invoice, but I really got lucky that I was even able to find a 2010 model left.
