  1. I was driving on a side street after having run some errands. I ease up on the gas to make a turn, when I try to accelerate again, the pedal goes dead and the battery and oil lights come on. I had to pull over. Turn off the engine and restart it. It worked. No issues so far. What happened? Should I get this checked out by the dealer? I'm at 32k. Ford Fusion SEL V6 2010
  2. Thanks - that is a bit far for me, however. I found a locksmith (doesn't have to be dealer) who will program the key for $40, and he'll come to me!
  3. At long last, I bought a 2010 SEL. Baby runs nice! Now, I'm trying to find a cheap option to get a second key programmed. Dealers want to rape me at $90!
  4. I just bought a used 2010 Fusion (per the advice of many on here). I only got one key with the car. I think I can get a key off of eBay and get it cut at Home Depot. When I called two dealers in the Atlanta area to get the key programmed, they both quoted me $90!! Anyone have any tips to get it programmed elsewhere for less? Thanks.
  5. Thanks for all the pointers. The only thing holding me back now is the insane uptick in gas prices. With the Middle East on the verge of anarchy, it may be wise to wait a bit and see if things calm down. Otherwise, a hybrid may be what I need to consider!
  6. I'm thinking of buying a used, but in great shape, Ford Fusion SEL V6 with Sync. Any major complaints/issues/problems that I should be aware of? Anything that is great about this car in comparison to the competition? I think it is the best bang for the buck, but want to make sure before I make my decision. Thanks.
