  1. Sweet! Just make sure you have the tube insert in while you don't have the tune
  2. I believe it is $99 for a single tune and $150 for lifetime tunes. Look out for coupon code deals around holidays. I got 20% off my lifetime tune for my Mustang! If you'd like both the tuner and cold air, I'll give you a deal. $350 plus shipping
  3. The tuner itself will definitely work, it is just a matter if you will need to get custom tune for it or if my tunes will work on your car
  4. Seems similar to what mine does randomly, except it won't start unless I turn the key back off then back on again. 99.9% of the time it fires right up on the second try.
  5. Hmmmm...you may have gotten lucky. I replaced my original battery last summer with a Motorcraft battery and still have the issue every now and then. Sometimes I can go several weeks without the issue happening....it is very random it seems. I've had it happening since I got the car new.
  6. Might be easier to setup a 12V light indicator wired to the fuel pump relay at the wire going to the pump....may be able to do something similar with spark? Not sure, will have to check out the wire diagrams later...
  7. Cool thanks for sharing that. Yeah I was thinking of setting something up with gauges inside the car to monitor those things during every start, so I can catch it happening and narrow down what is causing the issue. It's obviously either not getting fuel or not getting spark! Do you know if the SCT tuner can observe fuel pressure at least?
  8. Yeah I read about that as well...doesn't seem to apply to this issue, at least not that I've heard of. I've taken mine to the dealer when it was under the regular warranty and they of course couldn't replicate it. I'd say maybe 5-10% of the time for me. Sometimes it goes through spurts where it will do it to me 2-3 times a week but then it won't do it for like a two weeks sometimes...very random. I even got a Steeda tune loaded in back in March and still have had it happen several times since then...was hoping the tune would magically fix it...lol One of these days I will hook up an aftermarket fuel pressure gauge and maybe a tach or something on the coil wires to try and monitor spark signal, and try and observe the issue when it comes up. Maybe I can do this with my tuner? I dunno, I haven't dug into the capabilities of it being able to datalog....
  9. Still happens to me a few times a month maybe...been an annoying mystery to say the least...
  10. Thanks! That did the trick. I was worried about breaking that collar but it came off easier than expected. Two T-20 torx screws tightened up and she's good to go :-)
  11. Anyone know how to tighten this back up? It has gotten loose just recently, but I'm not sure how to tighten it... Didn't want to break it :-)
  12. I'll do that if shipping is included :-) PM me your Paypal and I'll get it to you
  13. Yeah I figured that out the other day searching around on some other Fusion forums :-) BTW, Steeda only now offers their "tunes for life" program for $150, which I guess is an OK deal, just sucks since I'm not going to be modding this car all the time like I do my Mustang :-) I went ahead and signed up and ordered an 87, 89, and 91 octane stock tunes.....then when i get the cold air kit I can get the same three tunes done with insert removed. Just waiting on Steeda to e-mail them to me now!
  14. Oh and here is the picture of the screen, in case you need the Vehicle Code
  15. I have an odd request...I did a little research hand bought a used SCT SF3 (p/n 3015, so has pre-loaded tunes) tuner from someone locally that is unlocked of course. I was under the impression that the Fusions were part of the stock Strategy pre-loaded tunes, but apparently they are custom tunes from Steeda...whoops! Guess I didn't research enough. Anyway, I hooked up the X3 and it says my ECU is not supported, so I guess I need the custom tunes to load to my 2011 Fusion Sport. Anyone out there willing to share with me the Steeda tunes? I don't have the cold air yet, but I plan on getting it down the road, but I'll take whatever you can give me (stock engine 87/89 octane, and 91/93 octane with and without cold air intake). Figured maybe Steeda would be willing to give me the tunes if I bought a Cold-Air from them, but I'm not ready to buy that yet.....For now, I just need the stock tunes without cold air...thanks for the help!
  16. So I figured out via the service manual and by exploring that my unit (Sony stereo w/o Nav) doesn't have a separate Sirius tuner...looked like all the 2011's were that way. What I was able to do was get up under the headliner and disconnect the Sirius antenna, which didn't change anything on the radio except when on Sirius it was say "Antenna Failure" or something like that. I ended up calling Sirius to cancel and they gave me the special again so I went ahead and signed up for another year so I hooked it back up...good experiment anyway! LOL
  17. Thanks for the update! Hope they figure it out. Another thing I've noticed now that you mention "stumbling", is that when my car does have it's fit, I noticed that lately the car shakes a lot while trying to start...not sure what that means really but thought I'd add that. It's not a normal shake you'd get while starting, more like a diesel truck starting type shake!
  18. Oh just noticed my write up didn't upload...guess it's too large so have to host it on the link below.... http://www.filedropper.com/fusioncameraswitchwrite-upreduced
  19. okay so I finally got around to using my backup camera when using my trailer, and it works great except for one caveat....the camera times out after 2 minutes even with my switch flipped (i used a SPDT switch). Apparently this is some timer feature built into the screen and/or camera itself? I'd like to leave it on the entire time trailing so I can always keep an eye on the cargo, but I have to flip the switch on and off every two minutes if I do that. Not a huge deal as 90% of my trailing is just from local hardware store to home anyway, but would be nice to figure this out....I doubt I can figure out how to disable it, but thought I'd share this finding and see if anyone else has any ideas.....
