Never listened to it while I had it for free, music is repetitive and the talk shows all sound like something you'd find on regular radio these days anyways. Plug in your iPod and enjoy your own music that you've bought with the money you've saved on Sirius

Do a Google search for "Fusion 6f35 transmission problems" , those are the transmissions in all of the Fusion models but the Sport. Don't know much about the Malibu though. Hope that helps.

Airbag light = bad battery
Disturbed1 replied to kkey1's topic in Maintenance, Recalls and TSB (Technical Service Bulletins)
They just finished replacing the battery per warranty , it only had 380 CCA , I believe the one they added has 550. -
Airbag light = bad battery
Disturbed1 replied to kkey1's topic in Maintenance, Recalls and TSB (Technical Service Bulletins)
2700 miles on mine , 20F outside and didn't start, first time it happens, had to call to have someone boost it , now it's in the shop and they have it plugged in to check the battery then they're gonna try to start it tomorrow morning. Thing is, after my jump start, i stopped at the dealership and tried to start it a few times and it did, showed 14.2V while running and didn't go further down than 10 when i cranked it. I'm sure they wont find any probs with it since it started, so I'm stuck buying a new battery even while it's on warranty. The car had been sitting for 3 days but it started fine the first time, left it running for 10 mins then left. This happened to me while I was running errands and tried to start it again after a 5 minute drive. -
Mine does that too, I've learned to live with it. My Key is the culprit , security feature that your dealer can take out although mine advised against it.

Damn I can't stop looking at your car , I have it in black but that pic makes me second guess my choice lol.

The trunk is so high you don't even notice it when it's open. :D

That's what it looks like on mine also.

Mine is Canadian so the option packages aren't the same but it's fully loaded like yours, awd, also tux black plus I made them put on a bug deflector and moon-roof deflector. I have 1800 Miles on mine.....You're going to love this car even if it doesn't get the mpgs as the other Fusions, it's well worth it. Congrats!

2010 Fusion 2'nd gear slipping *Video posted*
Disturbed1 replied to locust43's topic in General Powertrain Discussion
I watched a lot of youtube videos like that , reason why I bought a Sport . Good luck with yours locust, I hope they fix it when you bring it in. Sounds like you've got the flares that have been plaguing "some" 6f35 transmissions. -
Sweet ride. Congrats!

Wow, car still looks like new. Congrats on your purchase!

2010 Sport's- Does your car pull to the right?
Disturbed1 replied to omelet1978's topic in Ford Fusion Sport
I have a 2011 Sport AWD and it pulls to the right also , have to keep the wheel 3 to 4 degrees off center left for it to go straight. -
Turns out it was the remote car starter box in the hood that wasn't properly secured. They tightened it and added a bracket after putting in some foam to make sure the thing wouldn't move again. They were fast to find the problem, now all is quiet. My dealer isn't the one that puts them in , the guys that do it for them around here also do some auto detailing. Needless to say , I wont be going there to have my windows tinted.

lol no problem, I have a lot of questions about mine also since I've only had it for 2 weeks, hijack all you want :D

Getting back to the original subject of this thread... the coin drawer wasn't the problem since its started doing it again, I'm bringing it in tomorrow for the dash/driver-door rattle. It's hard to tell where it's coming from but at least the mechanic heard it when we went for a drive yesterday. I hope they can find what's causing it, but my hopes aren't that high ...at least they'll take the time to look.

Mine looks like yours Mutnat, i just got a random pic off the web to show the general location of the coin holder tray :D
-
Try hitting AUX and 1 at exactly the same time while in SAT mode, might take a few tries cause I couldn't get it to appear the first time i did it.
-
I just bought a 2011 Fusion Sport and it took me 2 weeks to find the culprit causing that same rattle in my car. On mine it's the coin holder tray in the dash right above the headlight switch , If i hold it or pull it out while going over small bumps, the rattling stops. I'm seeing my dealer Monday and Ill ask what they can do about it.

How can I tell if my Fusion has AWD?
Disturbed1 replied to White Suede's topic in All Wheel Drive (AWD)
Apparently another way to find out if you have AWD is if there's a "rumble" in the rear while going 40-50 mph. I just ordered a new 2011 AWD sport and found that out from other posts here about that problem but not sure if any 11's experience it , not looking forward to find out if I'll have that problem.
