  1. I have the one-button 100 series. It has a range of about 1000 feet as well. The benefit of the bi-directional is that the remote will beep when the car has started. That way you'll know it started, instead of hoping that it worked. So it really depends on what one you want.

Also when I had the dealer install mine, it was under $450.00.

  2. Hi, I have a 2009 Milan. What I want to do is remove my side mirror lens only and swap it with the newer milan ones with the blind spot on it.

they seem to be the correct size and everything, just not sure if they will work for my older car. Also if anyone has replaced the lens on them, how to do so. I have not replaced one yet and not sure how to replace it.

I just do not want to attach those cheap little mirrors onto mine, that is why i want to just switched mine with the newer ones.

here are some pictures, the first picture is what mine looks like now. The second picture is what I want mine to look like.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

  3. I agree with Big Jim. The price for the Ford is pretty high, but you'll almost be better off with the Ford one. As Big Jim said they did not design it well. What I had to do was cut a hole in the liner and fish the loops through the hole that I had cut to the hooks behind the liner. Other wise it would cause the liner to look all deformed. You do get the hooks when you order the trunk net.

If you can find an after market one that works great then that is good news, but the only thing you'll probably have an issue with is just getting it hooked up to the studs behind the liner.

  4. Wow, sorry to hear about that, but now we know not to buy that product. My headlights on my 2009 Mercury Milan. My head lights had a slight cloudy look to it. So i picked up a bottle of Meguiar's Plastx. Its a white bottle with a black cap. I had gotten it from walmart for around $5.50. It worked wonderful and I have not had any issues with the product. I would recommend going with Meguiar's product for your headlights.

  5. It actually doesn't matter. the stem TPMS sensor is the same thing as the band sensor. The main difference is that instead of being attached to the stem, its held on by a band. My summer wheels have the band sensor and my winter wheels have the stem mounted sensor. They are compatible as long as they are the ones for your vehicle. Of course you will have to reset them so the vehicle can recognize the new ones.

  6. It could be something that needs to be calibrated, like the compass or something along that line. Here is a website that might help My link

I hope that this helps you with your unknown display issue. If that has nothing to do with it I recommend calling the dealership to see if they know what it might mean.

  7. The battery light comes on when there is a problem with the alternator. Like if the alternator wasn't charging the battery, then the light will come on. If the battery has a bad cell or just crapping out, then the battery light will not come on. The battery in your Fusion might be a 36 month free replacement and a 100 month warranty pro rated, that is what is in my Milan. Check and contact the dealer, they might be able to replace it at n/c or something. Good luck!

  8. I drive a Mercury Milan. Which is the same thing as the Ford Fusion. I driven last winter in Minnesota when we has the three snow blizzards. It was able to the job just fine. I have winter tire this year on my car so I have better traction during the winter weather. Overall I will say that they Ford Fusion will do good in the winter conditions. All really depends if the tires on the vehicle have a lot of traction that will help grip the road.

  9. Well the smallest you can put on would be a 16" wheel. You will need to buy a P205/60R16 tire and a rim. I recommend buying them from www.tirerack.com. They will have different wheels options as well as tire options that they recommend for you vehicle. Other wise you can order the rims from the and get you winter tires through another tire shop that you prefer.
