  1. Okay so I crossed 5,000 miles over the weekend and now I'm a bit nervous. It is really safe to wait for the car to tell me the change for oil or should I just go ahead and do it? It just concerns me because it says oil life is at like 54% and that means I'll be close to 10,000 miles by the time I change it.
  2. Advance Auto Parts is listing roughly a dozen oil filters for my 2011 I4 Fusion SE. Any of you folks 'round these parts have a preference in brand? Edit: Interesting. Looks like the 2011 Fusions are back to the spin-on filter. My 2007 used a cartridge.
  3. I drive the car minimum 5 days a week, 50 miles a day. Think I should go with the 5,000 or 7,500 schedule?
  4. So I'm almost at my first 5,000 miles mark and that means it's oil change time. Now, my 2007 Ford Fusion came with a "Scheduled Maintenance Guide" which was perfect because it told me exactly what I needed to do at each mileage milestone. However, my 2011 came with no such guide, and I don't see one listed on the Ford website. Is there one floating about that I'm missing, or perhaps I can just go by the 2007 guide? Thanks for the assistance.
